I have many good reasons to attempt this PTO, perhaps the best of which is to lighten the mood in this dark country, but I don't have multis so I need your help!

FIRST

Remember the way the APP was trashed last month. eAustralia can be pretty dismal that way. If you don't remember, a self-confessed "two clicker" won the party presidency out of nowhere:



This had the support of a lot of behind-the-scenes maneuvering done by many including our current CP. Well whatever happened, we know the result:





Let's restore the APP with a new direction!


SECOND

I am doing this to have fun since the game mechanics allow it. But I will run the party according to the following ideas:

1) We will have game strategy discussions in our forum, not IRC, for anyone to contribute and new players to learn. The only thing off-limits are bad fact-checking and ad hominem attacks.

2) We will encourage our players to help eAustralia in non-political ways like I am doing with Centrelink and the ADF. I am tired of people not supporting Centrelink because of my party affiliation. If you want to play behind-the-scenes political games this would not be the party for you. This is why I'm going the route of a PUBLIC takeover.

3) Since we have to run senators, we will propose serious new players as candidates and let eAustralia decide if they want them in office. New players would be encouraged to run as space allows, provided they've shown they want to contribute to eAUS.

The emphasis in general is on bringing fun back to this dismal eCountry.




THIRD

Even though I may not have a great chance of succeeding - think of me as the frisbee in the above picture caught between a hostile eWorld on the left and bitter entrenched players on the right - YOU CAN TRY TO HELP!

Here's how you do it:

~ Leave your party now and join the APP. Make sure there's not a real PTO threat in your party first.

~ Vote for me on election day in less than 5 days.

~ You can return to your own party afterward, or stay if you like it.

COME ON AUSTALIA! LET'S DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT!
