Jewitt's Congressional Platform Released

The Jewitt Report Endorses Jewitt for Congress [Go figure...]

I am Jewitt and I am running for the congressional seat for Tennessee. I am running on a single platform, and that is activity. Our current congressman, Zudak (Libertarian Party), does not interact with other congressmen and has not been very approachable with other eTennesseans. His lack of activity has given eTennessee a lacking of voice in Washington, and I plan to change that.

I hope to gain your vote on Christmas Day, the 25th of this month, for Congress. If not, then I hope you will take forth the effort to at least research the other candidates and their views. Some have no platform and are just running for the reward GOLD you get if you win. I have already announced that I plan to donate the GOLD into a non-profit company that would form weapons contracts with the government.

I am a believer in war when it is needed to stimulate our economy, but not just for fun. I am also a fan of small businesses, as they keep our markets alive. I have worked for only Tennessean companies with one exception throughout my young ventures in eRepublik. I believe in strengthening Tennessee, as well as working to bring a higher quality hospital to our region.

I am a supporter of lowering the taxes on our raw materials, as one should not tax grain or anything else which is used in producing our food. Our food spike in prices is a testament to how government manipulation could severely harm the economy. I would push to keep prices of food down, while working with making the housing industry more accessible to small businesses and bring down their prices.

I also am against foreign markets flooding our economy, and believe in tariffs to stop foreign competition from hurting local businesses.

Being an active member of the eUSA Rizon Chat, eUSA forums, and even taking part in some congressional discussion, I believe my activity and views are what eTennessee needs to be properly represented in Congress. I also am easily contactable, and guarantee a response within 24 hours, and am open to the opinions and views of all.

Along with this, I have designed a web page which I will use to give my voting record, as well as proposals and the reasons why I voted for a bill. This is so nothing is hidden from those which I represent.

Here are a few base points to consider:

1.Active daily.
2.Known voice on the rizon #us channel.
3.Voiced in opinions.
4.Pledges to participate in every bill’s discussion via eUS Forums.
5.Will actively pursue the views of Tennessee residents in decision making.
6.Not a believer of the Pakistani-deity Dio.
7.Is an avid critic of Lewdaism / Sects.
8.Is Jewish.

These points have been perceived to be endorsed by President Benn Dover himself. I also plan to pledge the following for my term in Congress:

1. To participate in every bill that passes through congress.
2. To debate and voice eTennessee's views in congressional debates.
3. To fight for a better hospital in eTennessee: Q4 is my goal.
4. To expand our guns markets and lower iron import taxes.
5. To encourage the expansion of our government to include more player interaction.
6. To keep the income tax stable, at its current rate, and leave it unaltered.
7. Continue my voiced opinion in both the rizon chat with the nation's leading voices.
8. To continue being Jewish, and thus, a superb economist.

So, on the 25th, when you are looking at the candidates, rest assured I am not like the rest. Not only am I an avid business critic and investor in eRepublik, but I am also a veteran and newspaper editor.

These facts put me in touch with what we in eTennessee need in congress: A non-party-aligned candidate that is economy-savvy and is knowing of domestic and international affairs. The UCP, the party which I am running from, prides itself in individual view points and has produced some of the most critically acclaimed congressmen and women in the last mandate of Congress and active voices in eAmerica, such as PrincessMedyPi, Justinious, NoneSuch, Miguelguerin, Ben C, and Joeph Cole. I hope to continue this tradition of activity, independent views, and contactibility with those I represent.

Remember, eTennessee; Jewitt can do it!
