Jeff Hamilton for President
My fellow eThais:
I formally announce my name for President of Thailand. While I have not been as active in the media as some others, I assure you that that time is over (RL issues), and I can now fully commit the time necessary to run for President.
Although the office of President is one that I have considered running for in the past, it is one that I until now thought to be at best a pipe dream in Thailand. Thailand has seen many capable leaders over its long history, and I can only hope that I can live up to the expectations that people will rightfully have for me. It is in this spirit of good government that I present to the Thai people my plans for Thailand if I am elected.
1. I will grow Thailand's population to over 600 people. While this is a lofty goal to have, there are several ways of going about this. Thailand in RL has a large population that might be interested in joining us here in eThailand. Running some sort of advertisement on a social networking site would be an excellent recruiting tool.
2. I will preserve the integrity of the Thai government. These are interesting times that we live in today. Many countries have fallen by the wayside in the global conflicts between EDEN and the now-mostly dismantled PEACE. I promise you that Thailand shall not be reduced by any "great power".
These two goals are crucial to the future of the nation as a whole. I hope you, whether new immigrant or old hand, consider me fit to lead this nation.
