JDS - Updated tasks for Joeys level 34 and under

Day 2,286, 06:18 Published in Australia Australia by Joey Development Scheme

This article was created so new players and returning players of a low level will always have a link to just the rewards and workings of the JDS scheme, that way regular articles can concentrate on competitions, latest news and helpful tips and information for new eAussies...so below you will find a description of how we function and what our tasks are -

The J.D.S is run by your Government but with funds from donations by kind citizens, our aim is to help young players and players who are new to eRepublik and whom are level 34 or under. Mainly we want to help those who entered the game and need that little helping hand or those who have returned and need help upgrading their training facilities. We are not politically biased and there are no hidden catches, and you do not have to pay back the rewards or join any particular political parties. All you have to do is look at the tasks below, they are very simple and designed to help you adapt into the game and the eAustralian community.

Each task completed will see you receive 1gold, the aim is that you will save it for Training Ground updates because in this game the key thing is strength, and you achieve this by training. The best advice we can offer is for you to save your gold until the admins release an offer on upgrading training grounds...then spend away and upgrade. The higher your strength the more damage you do which is beneficial to yourself and your country and will see you earn more gold as well.

We strongly urge you to take the game and tasks slowly and avoid heavy fighting until you have a respectable strength.

Once you have completed one of the below tasks then contact your JDS Directors who are either myself - Dr Hugh Jardon or Claire Louise, we will then send you a form to fill in...don't worry all it is is two lines long and just asks for your eRepublik name and a link to your eRepublik profile...that's all, when you have done that then you will receive your free gold.

Task 1 - Join the Australian Defence Force Military Unit - There are many benefits from joining a Military Unit including doing your daily orders set by the MU including daily supplies if you complete those Daily Orders.
The Daily Orders reward you with a 100 energy health bar and a bazooka to be used when you are a higher rank as well, but for now they will be stockpiled in your storage until you reach a certain strength. The Australian Defence Force is specifically there to help young players - those in Division 1. Wise old gamers will tell you that the less fighting you do in the early stages the better, so just complete your daily orders (25 kills) and concentrate on training.

Task 2 - Join a political party. Playing a part in the political side is an option open to you but if you wish to represent your country in eAustralian senate then you have to be part of a political party. It also will open up doors to parts of our community you may miss otherwise. Whether you do seek an ePolitical career or just stay for the community, it can be a rewarding experience. Parties can be found HERE

Task 3 - Upload an Avatar. It’s a simple as that! You can upload an avatar/edit your profile by clicking your name on the left side of the screen. Avatars have to be a .jpg image and the ideal size is 150x150 pixels. You can also ask for us to make you an avatar, just comment below and we will be in touch with you or if you prefer you can ask your MU Commander or President of your Political Party.

Task 4 - Have 20 eAustralians on your friends list. You can add people by clicking on their profile and clicking the “add friend” button on the top right of their profile. The more friends you have, the more help and support you will get, and the more you will get to know the community better!

Task 5 - Reach level 15. This one doesn’t take long at all, but we strongly advise you take your time.

Task 6 - Reach Level 20. Again, doesn’t take much effort at all to hit level 20, and again we strongly urge you to concentrate more on the training than the fighting side of the game for now.

Task 7 - Reach Level 30. This will take just a little bit of time but don't feel you have to rush it. Each time you move up a division you face more stronger foes on the battlefield so take your time in Division 1, the stronger you are when you do leave Division 1 the better for eAustralia and yourself.

Task 8 - Register on the eAustralian Forums and play a part in our growing community. You will meet many friendly people who are always willing to help you. They are not just threads about the game, but also fun threads so don't feel intimidated and come and say Hello.

Task 9 - Complete 10 posts on the forums. Simple as that, they can be posts anywhere, about anything, so long as they adhere to the forum rules.

Task 10 - Get on IRC. IRC is the instant chatroom used by the the eRepublik community to share up-to-date game news, not to mention to just socialise with their community. You just click the link and enter your eRepublik name and you’re automatically thrown into the eAustralia IRC room. It is that simple so come and pay us a visit.

Task 11 - Create your own newspaper. You can do this by clicking on your profile and below your avatar picture you will see the option to create one. It costs two gold but this reward will repay you the two gold so you basically get a free newspaper and can create your own media empire. Some use them for political articles, some for their views on outside real world events and some just for fun and random gifs and hilarious Images they want to share.

Task 12 - Achieve your first hard worker medal. You gain this medal after training and fighting for 30 days. They don’t have to be concurrent days, just so long as at some point you have worked and trained a total of 30 days. **COMPLETE THIS TASK TO RECEIVE 2 GOLD REWARD**

Task 13 - Earn 100 strength points through training.

Task 14 - Obtain your first Super Soldier medal (250 strength points). Keep training, you’ll soon get it! You’ll also get a 5 gold reward every time you get a Super Soldier medal, which you get at every 250 strength (250, 500, 750, 1000 etc…).

Task 15 - Obtain your second Super Soldier medal (500 Strength points), each Super solider medal is earned when you grow 250 in strength.

Task 16 - Upgrade your free training ground at least once. Upgrading your free training ground will mean that you will gain more strength every day. To upgrade your free training ground, click on “My Places” on the top bar, then click Training Grounds (next to your companies).
The top training ground is your free one, and it costs 20 gold to upgrade to a Q2 quality training ground. We would advise that you actually wait until there is a Training Ground deal on (you’ll see this at the top of your homepage when the deal is on), meaning that you can upgrade your Training Ground for 45% less gold, so instead of it costing you 20 gold, it will cost you 11 gold. Using this training ground will mean you gain 10 strength a day, instead of 5. As proof of completion of this task we will require a screen shot of the upgrade.

Task 17 - Reach the in-game rank of Sergeant. You’ll get this one pretty quickly too!

Task 18 - Reach the in-game rank of Colonel. Just a little bit more playing this game will get you to this one but again do not rush it. JDS will still be here no matter how long it takes you to reach this rank.

Task 19 - Complete all tasks! Seems daunting, but with a little time all of these tasks can be easily completed.

✰ ✰ REMEMBER THERE IS NO TIME LIMIT SO TAKE YOUR TIME COMPLETING THE TASKS ✰ ✰
