Japan's Role in the World
Yesterday Japan took back her honor and pride by standing up to an invading nation. No nation deserves to have their land trod upon, unasked for and unwanted. We shall do all we can to defend Kyushu and Japan from foreign aggression and to ensure the liberty of her people. Our Army fought better than ever and we thank them for their service.
Japan has been thrust onto the world stage by America. We are the center of attention this week. Asia as a whole is spinning out of control. Japan has been contacted by nations around the region asking us to aid them. And we have long and deep friendships with these nations. The Righteous Nation is a nation that defends itself from Foreign Domination, to be sure, but it is also an Agent for Righteousness throughout the world.
Our neighbors in China have languished under foreign occupation for many months now. The citizens of China rose up in concert with the USA to see their land free, but their gambit has failed. They fought against Japan but I do not begrudge them that. Instead I will tell Phoenix this. If anything happens to China, be it an attack, PTO, economic meddling, or other, I will retreat Kyushu to the United States.
As a Righteous Nation Japan also should help guarantee the freedom of her friends. So I will say further, China deserves her land back. I want Phoenix to have a contract ready to return all Chinese regions except Heilongjiang back to China by 23:59 server time Sunday. With the consultation of Congress I will act on any failure by Phoenix to give justice to China in that time. If these goals are met, I will continue to ensure the safety of Heilongjiang and Phoenix in Asia.
Citizens of Japan, the past few days have brought the biggest changes to Japan we could have feared. We want to be neutral in the wars that rage around us, yet our friends in Asia suffer while we sit shielded by Phoenix. It is not just China, but others as well. We have grown comfortable for a long time, but it comes at the expense of others happiness. We live an easy life of internal divisions while others must band together in a desperate attempt to survive. This state cannot continue if we wish to live the ideals we profess. It has to change for Japan to become what she was meant to be. We must act in order to truly be a Righteous Nation!

It's a good first step. It is sad that it took an international incident and involve our neighbors including Japan in this matter in order to show the resolve the Chinese people have in seeking the return of our homeland.
I hope a quick resolution may be reached to prevent further destruction.

Our army may not have won, but we performed above our weight in my opinion. Remember that only a couple of months ago, the JIA had no government funding. For a small nation we are doing very well, I think.

Okay, maybe I should rephrase my question: Why will it take longer for Phoenix to free the regions of eChina? I'd like to see them freed as soon as possible myself.
If we want to help China, why do we have to retreat OUR land?

Rightiousness is all well and good til Japanese businesses are under Phoenix or EDEN command because they thought that the eJapan was better occupied "for the well being of the Japanese people" of course.
Pragmatism has to outweigh rightiousness or you end up without a country to be rightious in the first place.

What is the point of the massive amounts of gold spent defending Kyushu? If you believed from the start that the eUSA was righteous and good, then you would have listened to their offer. You refused, we were invaded by a foreign army, and suddenly you want to let them through?
I want to help China. I do not see, however, how Japan is the only way through.
I also worry - if Asia is in such a mess, and we let the eUSA through, what happens to eJapan? Now we are in the spotlight - do that and we will be the top target for these nations. If eUSA is successful, then retreats, and then it's eJapan which gets occupied - will they return to help us? I am thinking that they won't.
I say we stay neutral. Neutral means taking NO side.
This seems like a threat towards Pheonix to free the regions or we will let eUS steam roll them which is what we opposed just two days ago.

I hope the great powers will not ignore these strong words from our president. He allowed our armed forces to deny the eUSA Kyushu already, proof that he is not a "puppet" or eUSA PTO.
eJapan strongly wishes to help eChina. This was our goal even before Dokomo came to power. The Righteous Nation stands with allies to stop aggression. We don't want the eUSA in eChinese regions anymore than we want eHungary. Unfortunately as a small country we do not have the military strength to assist them, so we must apply diplomatic pressure.
I hope Phoenix will return the eChinese regions willingly.

Ever since the day I created this character I have been hounded, harassed, and cheated by PEACE (Russia, Hungary, Indonesia, and Iran specifically).
PEACE has been anything other than peaceful in my eyes. It was like, "Oh hey there new guy, sorry but I'm gonna conquer you because I can, I hope we can be friends!"
PEACE's involvement in Asia is one of utter domination and bullying. They have NO moral high-ground on this continent. I really don't care who steps up to the plate to end this oppression. It just so happens that the US is willing to.
I think perhaps Dokomo knows this. This isn't all about Japan or even EDEN vs Phoenix. It's about the Eastern superpowers and their long time abuse of their smaller neighbors. Without that, I doubt anyone would ever even CONCEIVE of letting America in here. But as it stands, the way Russia is messing with NK, Iran with NK and China, Indo with India, and Hungary with everyone it should come as no surprise to anyone that a person born and raised in eAsia should not exactly be best pals with the former PEACE powers. Dokomo knows this and anyone who fails to see it is a sycophant, or so it seems.

The only reason Phoenix will give up those high regions is because they will eventually be forced to by public opinion. If not, they'll make more enemies than they need. I don't particularly trust or believe Phoenix will give up those regions either, but I'd like to hold out hope.

Well, yeah. We want Hungary to lose that high iron region, but that is not the sole reason why we want China to regain its regions. I personally want to see the complete liberation of both China and India because both countries have been under occupation for far too long. Hell, for as long as I've been here, I don't recall either country ever being completely free.

A reasonable position. I only hope this is truly a change in eJapan's policy, and Japan committs. I would hat to see Japan bail on its commitment to eChina like it did to eMalaysia when it was invaded by eIndonesia. Also, I would like to know about what commitments eJapan has toward eIndia.
Further we have already sent our Mobile forces to RW regions back to eIndia. Many of them had no rescources value and their lost harmed Phoenix in no way. However, they were eIndian, and though we had nothing to gain, we believed they belonged to eIndia. So before asking why we don't resistance war, read history and learn that we do whenever possible.
