A short summary of the January term and some thoughts on the current situation in Philippines.

1. Regions
Under the Treaty of Manila, we now have only one region - Luzon. But the situation is more stable than a month ago. In December Colombia gave our region back only for congress elections. Still far from comfortable situation, but it is progress.

Philippines have Luzon, Indonesia and Colombia have the training war.

2. Airstrike
Yes, I think it was the good idea to attack Kosovo. It was something new, it was fun, it was an opportunity to mobilize our society. Maybe it didn't bring measurable benefits for our country, but it is a game, and we need some fun from time to time 😉
Now let's focus on more serious things.

3. Politics
Since I can remember, since I'm here, in Philippines (two years have passed one week ago 🙂 ), KMP was under control of RL Filipinos. It was always natural for me that although RL Filipinos are a minority in their own country, they managed the party. The situation changed after party elections in January. It is an unfavorable circumstance. The current president of KMP made clear that he doesn't provide any cooperation with the previous authorities. I respect that as a political decision, but I would prefer to build policy of Philippines on cooperation. And I will always strive for that.

4. Taxes
The last law approved in the previous congress term was the work tax increase. As I support that idea when I was CP in December, I still support it now. And I recommend to continue the observation of the changes in state income.

I agree we have some political issues right now. ePH is new home of The Shoe People and we must ensure that home to be safe and untouchable for PTOers and any kind of people with bad intentions. I know, everybody will say "you are PToers too" and I agree, but as I said, we want to make this our home. We are giving and we will give all to ePH...we proved that with last AS, so, just believe in us and give us support, we will do the same. We want and we need unity and that's only way to make progress of ePhillipines.
