It's like riding a bike!
You never forget how...
I have been around this game for a while. In fact, I stopped playing for a longer time than many of you reading this knew the game existed. I can remember very well how these articles go, and no doubt you all do too.
"Vote for me. I am good. I will be a defender of the people and champion justice!" "...Free Cake!"
Screw that.
I ask you to look at my record. Ignore the absence and look at the facts. I am not going to make a greatest hits or anything, but flick through the older articles in this newspaper and you will see that I always have and always will put the needs of the country before my own.
Since returning, I have spent way too long reading old newspaper articles and speaking to those few who remain from my last time here. I know what the country went through, and I can see where it is now.
I can't come back and two-click my way through this game. The only way to play it, is to get hands-on. Fully involved. For this to be possible, I figure that I must step back into the halls of congress.
If elected, I will continue to try to improve our country.
The past is the past, but as there are many citizens who have absolutely no idea who I am, then I will give you some assurances.
I am very active, incredibly driven and always looking to better the country - even at great cost to myself. I am an active writer, and use the media to keep citizens informed and entertained. I am not afraid to speak my mind. In fact, I was one of the few people who did in a previous regime of followers. Sure, it infuriates some people, but generally only those who dislike questions being asked about the governments actions and motives.
I have a wealth of experience. I was a two-term Vice President in Japan, and a top-5 party leader and cabinet member in the USA when it was still a super-power.
If elected to congress, I will use this experience to further advance our country.
I believe (and hope) that I am approachable by any citizens. If you have a problem, or need some help - send me a message. I am never to busy to lend a hand.
If you have any questions regarding my policy, post it in the comments and I will answer.
In a nutshell though -
I want a more active country. More citizens and all of them involved.
I want our citizens to speak out. use the media and the forums and get more from the game.
I want to see our own companies get stronger. This requires employees and a market - ie more people. See point 1.
I really want to address what has become a larger problem around the world recently - experienced players and new players struggling to co-exist. I do not like cliques and would hate to see Japan head this way.
I don't want-
The 5 GOLD. It will go into the treasury.
Greedy or self-serving congressmen or politicians.
Pathetic in-fighting between factions either within or outwith the government.
I hope this is a clear platform. If you disagree with this platform, please comment.

I like your platform. Welcome back.
OMFG Angrr is back
If we're remembering the facts, let's not forget this one:

~ Geno Garon
Um, and what exactly is the link of the training war that Angrr paid for supposed to be relevant to? Geno, you've lost me here...
But not to get sidetracked! Angrr, it's GREAT to see you back, and I hope to see you liven this place up again!
"but generally only those who dislike questions being asked about the governments actions and motives."
Dude your going to have a ball with the current government.
Hahahaahaha, omg trolling inc.
I stand ready to loot National Banks.
What is your stance on people who instead of asking questions about government actions and motives, and fail to work with the elected government, don't try to make things better, and decide to conspire to steal the entire countries funds in a temper tantrum and flee the country?
Quick someone ask a question about how the bank was stolen and watch Walorm and Co. claim they're patriots and were only looking out for Japan.
Aw I ruined the ending. SPOILER ALERT.
Hey look at all the North Koreans commenting against me, somehow that's not surprising.
Sorry, let me go rustle up some Japanese to troll you Walorm.
Dokomo, give the bank passwords so I can be a true eJapanese citizen and steal the bank pwetttty pwwwwwwwwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeez.
Nah, I'll tell you what IS surprising though... The whole bank being stolen thing and then playing the victim/hero. It was like Bruce Willis being the ghost with how mind blowing it was...
Only you're not cool like John McClane over there and your supporting cast hasn't had any sweet lines like, I see dead people.
I heard you were going to get people to "pile on" me Dokomo. Is that true?
That is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo hot Walorm.
Oh haha, shouldn't be to hard given the people your aligned with Doko.
Walorm smells bad and he kicks babies. Also, he has a snaggle-tooth and always swallows the worm at the bottom of the tequila bottle. This one time, I saw him leave a restaurant without tipping. OH, and ha always takes time very day to spit on Democrats, hippies, and homeless people for not having as much money as him, even though we all know that, like a true Republican, he got all of his money by ripping off the little guy.

Think outside of the box Dokomo, I don't need a mole in the cabinet.
Walorm is just upset because as President I have a button called "Summon Troll" and it gets me 10 exp every time I press it.
Your just upset because I didn't approve of the idea of selling eJapan to eUSA.
Your also probably upset I have the logs to prove it.
You should post them to the forums then!
Logs? Lol...wouldn't put it past people in erep to doctor logs. Especially given the corruption that exists all over the place and from people who have already demonstrated their ability to cheat, lie, and steal would make it all the more laughable.
22:24 JohnDoeMcStealyface Yeah, I stole from the bank. Also, I have trouble with your and you're...but I do have downs..so there's that.
See what I did thar? John didn't say that...or did he? He didn't. Maybe.
I would but somebody restricted my access. Either way your just going to say I photo-shopped and get your mob of FoH to bash me and I think it is much better to hold my cards for when they will be most effective.
Besides the info is already to the places that need it and I compliment your wording; you didn't acknowledge or deny anything.
No, I'll go right ahead and deny it. I do not wish to sell eJapan to the eUSA. Although I did hear something about what Glenn Beck did in 1991.
Cool story bro.
I hope you don't mind me quoting this article later Dokomo. I think people will find it really interesting.
Angrr, I apologize for jacking your article's comments. Welcome back, it's been a long time. You should get on IRC soon if your not already.
Woot!
Later... when you drop your big, impressive evidence that is going to make everyone not think you're a huge douche. Always later....
As everyone can see, Dokomo won the Presidency and eJapan has totally fallen apart.... so yeah good call on that one Walorm. And he's sold us out to the US. You're, like, prophetic.
Welcome back! It's certainly not the same as when you left, sadly. Like to see you spruce things up there!
Thank god Walorm came to save us from prosperity and growth. Man if Dokomo could do all this with a stolen treasury, I wonder what would've happened if Walorm HADN'T saved us. Japan might have ascended to Heaven or something.
Welcome back Angrr, See here what you were missing.
Uhh... so are the admins still looking at our tickets about Walorm or have they decided to continue to be useless?
Forfeit points inc!!!
wow.
Um. I will adress the only comment aimed at me shall I?
Geno - "Let's not forget this..." I did not forget it. It cost me a lot of money, and it was what I was referring to as being used for political gain.
It was something I genuinely believed would help, and since no-one would properly discuss or commit to any action despite agreeing it's merit when it was discussed in congress for weeks, I went ahead and started the thing with my own money.
You disliked it, clearly. Others twisted it and made the average citizen dislike it. I can't blame the average citizen, but you are smarter than that.
Also, I was in no way hiding it or pretending it never happened - I merely didn't want to descend into flamces, but that happened anyway...
@Loftish the admins have still failed to respond. It's been 11 days since they last emailed me, but I'll try e-mailing them again today.
Welcome Back!
Goodluck !
It's good to have another principled and experienced player come back and join the TFC Party and I'm personally happy to have you back Angrr.
Welcome back
Walorm, how exactly can you call telling the eUS that we do not intend to loan Kyushu to anyone ever again, most especially when it goes against public opinion, selling out? We have made it clear, in no uncertain terms, that we will NOT loan Kyushu to the US. Doko and I have both been approached by current leaders within the US, and we have both told them that we do not wish for Kyushu to be used again the way that Indo used it. We have expressed our hope that they will not decide to go against our wishes, as we would like to be able to keep our friendship with them. I'm sorry that you see this as selling Japan. But, tell me, if that is what constitutes us selling Japan, why aren't we getting any money from them? And what would you call what the administration which did give Kyushu to Indo did? Would that be considered as protecting Japan instead of selling it, considering your definitions seem to be so backward?
I will say, though, that I do understand that there was simply no choice at that time. The administration tried their hardest to hold onto Kyushu, and repeatedly denied Indo, even after being offered a lot in return. In the end, the choice came down to either letting Indo attack Japan (and considering the inactivity of the previous government, we did not have nearly strong enough of an army to defend ourselves back then), or letting Indo use Kyushu and get 2 q5 hospitals and some gold out of it. I do believe that the administration at that time made the best choice they could considering the circumstances.
As far as your logs showing us selling Japan go, I would love to see the creative editing you've used. I'm always amused by your lies. Like when you tried to tell us you had no idea who owned Treasury DoK, while at the same time you were telling Pipo and Darshu "oops, I didn't realize my org friended me!"
And Angrr, welcome back. I do not know much about you other than what I have seen in wiki articles about history, and I've never met you, but I hope that you will help further the good of Japan, and enjoy your time back here with us.
OMFG! Angrr returns! Epic!!!
@Angrr
At no point in my comment did I ever make a negative comment. Your extrapolation of these things is pure conjecture. Most disturbing...
~ Geno Garon
@Japan
lol
Oh Hey.
@Geno- If nothing was meant, then I take no offense.
But a comment like that on a congress platform seems like it is meant to have some kind of negative effect, wouldn't you agree.
Regardless - I have nothing to hide about my past actions in and regarding eJapan. I still maintain that it was done with the best intentions, and if it stepped on some toes, it was a deliberate attempt to make those people realise that if you never move at all, your toes will eventually be stepped upon.
Anyway, anyone has an issue with this, contact me and we can discuss it. This kind of discussion is best left out of the media if its just a few peoples egos clashing, or a difference of opinion.
Oh, @MedyPi - You are in Japan! THAT is epic!!!
You made a good call then. I supported your initiative!
> We have expressed our hope that they will not decide to go against our wishes, as we would like to be able to keep our friendship with them.
Wait...we're friends? When did this happen?
I'm so happy for your return!!
grin
