Issue 164: PM Candidates that didn't run for office (1)

We've seen many Prime Minister elections in eUK, some of which have had candidates which pulled out for several reasons, such as strategy, personal issues, being hit by a bus, being blasted into oblivion by a nuclear bomb, or just chickened out of running for the role. As I had nothing better to do, I made a short analysis of each of them. Here is the first part in the 3-part series of "PM Candidates that didn't run for office".
Aelar Vardamir Anari Eneibari - November 2009

Profile: http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/1532796
One of the few outsider candidates in a long time which actually stood a chance, probably since HazzN ran in March. A relative newcomer, he's matured quite a lot considering his e-age. His two terms as congressman have been quite successful. His main criticism centred around his lack of exprience in ministerial roles. Despite this, both his fans and his critics agree on one thing: he is a talented individual who has a long and promising career ahead of him. He retired his candidacy in order to back Altmer Vampire. Aelar strong candidate to look out for in future elections. Rumours are that he beat two-term PM Hassan Pesaran with over 70% of the vote in the FDP primary, so he's got the beef, but has he got the steak to get into Number 10? Only time will tell...
Big Boy Bulley - February 2009

An Erepublik Beta giant, and one of the original PCP commisars of the KIA Sneak soviet republic. One of eUK's most successful paratroopers and entertainers, he had a brilliant political career, both as congressman, party president and VP in the infamous FD presidency Mk. II. Dubbed as the "best Prime Minister that never was", he was liked by both friends and foes. A true eUK gentleman, he then moved to the Phillipines and is now enshrined as one of their Fathers of the Nation, helping them get on their feet with his own personal funds. He came very close to the ballot in February, but he eventually lost the primary to Final Destiny, and the rest is History.

We first came across this guy at the end of June, when he was a few weeks old, shouting his head off that he wanted to run for Prime Minister. He kept asking about what he needed to do in order to run for office as an Independent candidate. He was never a serious candidate, but he has left a mark on eUK society which is still alive today. His main highlight was promising a Q7 Hospital in each region. Also, ver wondered why people "boat" for articles instead of voting for them? Well, Franciscoleite is your answer, alongside the awesome humour of Navy boffin Joachim von Bremen who helped translate his "manifesto":
