Is Party President a Joke?

The Filipino Progressive Movement (FPM) seems to think so.
Until a few hours ago, a relatively new player, Mario12345, who only started his newspaper after becoming a PP candidate and as yet never registered to the forums (despite repeated announcements by House Speaker Revilo X) was vying for reelection against Keitarour who has been inactive in the Philippines since moving to Indonesia. This has changed, however, as Mario12345 has resigned from Congress and his post as Party President to move to Canada - leaving Keitarour as the only contender for the post.
All this, despite having Slothen, romansoldier, Ariel David Buena (all former/current Country Presidents), Topy XYZ and other active players in their party.

I endorse all current Party Presidents running for reelection - particularly if Slothen, the current PP of FPM once Mario12345 resigned, chooses to run. Currently the only contested position is in Philippines for the Filipinos (PFF). Edit: Kymomo is now running against roymustang .
I will be doing this for future elections as well, so in order to know at a glance who you are voting for, I have pulled information from various sources including the game itself, the forums, and eHistory. I mostly focused on social activity (shouts, newspaper articles, forums, cabinet positions) and game statistics to keep it simple and to emphasize that communication from leadership is key (hint, hint to the current Country President romansoldier).

If you're referring to the jab about communications, that had more to do with official CP announcements
As for being PP, it really doesn't require much beyond being active in the forums (you're already a step ahead of the last PP!) and approving congressional lineups once a month.
I was very pleased when I read your kind words, Quin2k, but unfortunately I have to decline. I will not run for party presidency of my party. I will, however, try my best being the current president of FPM. Until the election day comes, I will not hand it over unless a serious candidate shows up.

How about the co-founder and first Director of the Department of Home Affairs, the guy who set up our first state-run companies: BOP Weapons, BOP Iron, BOP Food, BOP Grain, etc. (later renamed to DOHA Weapons, DOHA Iron, DOHA Food, and much of the DOHA companies you know today)?

Well, now I *know* (and have updated it as such). I did my due diligence, but when someone deletes all their past articles, I really don't have much to go on.
How many of your members (a majority of which are not even members of the forums) would have known his past? Only after a little digging did I find references to his role in Congress (mid August) and DoHA (early May).

If anyone wants to know, I spent last three months in Indonesia in order to rank up my military rank to Field Marshall. Now that accomplish I have return back to politics in Philippines.
If you must know i left because i had business to attend alright so i don't think it's a joke but this business is important for me and can change a lot so i had to go oh and am sure that keitarour will be fine as long as he does his job and why should i follow the stupid procedure when i accept someone is because i know them or been talking to them which tells me if there active or not
I trust Keitarour also. Hasn't been active politically in the past few months, but he's very fit for the job. Maybe he start being active through the forums again.
Although, I don't understand why Indonesia was the choice for ranking up. I gained my Field Marshal in the ePhilippines.
