Ireland Interviews GLaDOS

Day 812, 14:03 Published in Ireland Pakistan by Longbaugh

GLaDOS asked me to interview him in an effort to reintroduce himself to Ireland. I figured my interview would undoubtedly be biased in its questions (or at least I'd be accused of bias), so I decided to take questions submitted by various Irish figures.

.

What do you not understand by "feck the British army"? (submitted by Dan Murchadh)

Considering half our navy could do as much damage as the Irish republic, I don't understand much about "feck the British army." 😉

How do you feel about the anti-British sentiment caused by his canceling of the Raleigh treaty will impact relations between our two countries? How do you envision the future relationship between Ireland and Great Britain? (submitted by Dubhthaigh)

The cancellation article was controversial and a mistake, which has been apologized for and corrected on many occasions. I believe in strong UK-Irish relations in the future.

Do you believe Poland will ever into space? (submitted by Michael Collins)

No. <3

What is my favourite colour? (submitted by orangejuicemmm)

Orange? If not, indigo?

What do you think about the new neighbors on the Island? (submitted by Talfryn)

They suck.

When is the eUK going to give back Northern Ireland to its rightful owner? (submitted by Lews - TherinTelamon)

We will give it to the rightful owners, the Northern Irish, who are more than happy to remain under the crown.

If Ireland would help the UK, what would we get in return? (submitted by Glenn Wauters)

A strengthened lasting relationship with the UK, much like the "brolliance" between Canada and the USA.

Are you in favour of improving relations with Ireland? If we joined EDEN would you stop your friendship with us because we sided with your enemies? (submitted by Ian Arbuckle)

I would love to strengthen British/Irish relations, and as Mr Woldy has said, joining EDEN would not heavily impact Irish-British relations.

Would His Royal Highness, the Duke of Halifax, consider leaving Phoenix and reforming NATO with a clean slate upon the shake-ups anticipated by V2? (submitted by Donovan Thomas)

Respectfully decline.

If a decision to invade Ireland was passed by Phoenix high command (for whatever reason) would the UK be willing to accept the consequences as sited in the Phoenix Charter of refusing to attack or swap regions to facilitate another member's attack of Ireland? (submitted by Sweet Drinker)

The UK would decline to join in the invasion of Ireland and willingly take the punishment from Phoenix for disagreeing with said decision.

Imagine this: worst case scenario for eUK, they are totally wiped off the map and a few weeks later emerge but are poor and lack numbers, would the eUK government be willing to unite the north of Ireland with the south? For a large sum of gold, among other things? (submitted by Dylanb9216)

The north of Ireland is a region of the United Kingdom, and will remain so.

.

There it is; short but sweet. It appears all of Ireland's (very few) worries have been directly addressed by the former Prime Minister. Let the ravenous anti-UK spin machine commence its duties.
