IRC Guide - mIRC users

the guide below is useful for IRC Nicks already registered, a guide to how to register an IRC nick is shown below the guide
Step 1 : Download mIRC
Follow guide to install package
Setup guide for citizens
1 : Stage 1

File >> Select Server
2: mIRC Options (Connect)

Nickname : type erepublik citizen name
(if citizen name has space use (underscore ) ( _ )
example citizen_name
Name : type citizen name
email : can be left blank
2: mIRC Options (Servers)

scroll down the list of IRC Servers and select ( Rizon )
3: mIRC options (options)

above are some options that you need to ensure that are ticked, unticked
using the above screenshot ensure yours matchs
(a) Options ( Performance )

ensure you select Perform on Connect
4: mIRC options ( identd )

ensure all are ticked
User ID : type citizen name
after completing all the above click OK
at this point do not connect to rizon server
5 : Tools ( script editor )

(a) Remote script

at the moment your remote script section is blank
using the text in this pastbin : http://pastebin.com/xqtGKW3k
fill in the gaps and paste full text in remote
(b) example remote script for 1 irc server

put own nick in replace of snowderblazer
with your citizen name you entered in 2: mIRC Options (Connect)
replace : nick1PASSWD
with your IRC nick password
#chan1,#chan2,#chan3 needs to be replaces with the channels you are connecting to, if the channel has a password you simple do
#chan1 password,#chan2 password,#chan3 password
put , after each channel except for the last one
once done click ok, and exit mIRC
open mIRC again and it shall connect you to the rizon server, and log you automatically into your IRC Nick
