INTERVIEW WITH THE WARRIOR
Mr Field Marshal Raquelors, commander of 3rd Squad of Croatian elite forces ZDRUG



READ US & LINK: So, Mr. Field Marshal Raquelors, how long have you been in the eR world?
Raquelors: I have been in the eSvijetu since the day 451 (Feb 13th, 2009).
READ US & LINK: How did you hear for the eR?
Raquelors: I have heard of eRepublik, that is I've read about it in the local newspapers which are published in Varazdin, Croatia. It's called REGIONAL WEEKLY.
READ US & LINK: So, you are from NW Croatia, the real Varazdin guy?
Raquelors: That's right – born and raized!
READ US & LINK: What was the situation in eCroatia at the beginning of your eR life, could you tell us a little bit about it?
Raquelors: When I started to play, the situation in the eR was great, eSerbia has been conquered almost completely, but then the TO followed (takeover, political takover of the congress) by eHungary and eSerbia and everything has changed and returned eCroatia to its original borders.
READ US & LINK: Has the situation improved since then?
Raquelors: I think it has, many new players have joined the game, Vatreni gušteri (Fire Lizards) have been founded and so on.
READ US & LINK: How have you entered Fire Lizards?
Raquelors: I've entered Fire Lizards by donating 3 weapon companies, but I've never become a Lizard myself, because I have already had too high rank according to the criteria for entering Fire Lizards.
READ US & LINK: So, your companies are now Lizard weapon companies? Could you tellus which companies exactly are we talking about?
Raquelors: These companies were q1 weapon companies owned by me, but I could not remember the old names exactly. Anyway these 3 companies are now part of the Lizard weapon company group and are owned by Fire Lizards.
READ US & LINK: Could you tell us when the Fire Lizards were founded?
Raquelors: Well, I don't remember the exact date, but it was approximately 3 months ago. However, I could find the exact date, just a moment.

Raquelors: OK, Fire Lizards were founded on September 10 2009.
READ US & LINK: How did your military career evolve? Which military troups have you served in?
Raquelors: I had been a member od 1st and 7th Guard Brigade in the Croatian Army, then I was the comander of 10th Squad of Fire Lizards (popular Squad 😵, and now I serve as the comander of the 3rd Squad of Croatian elite force ZDRUG.
READ US & LINK: Really impressive!
READ US & LINK: Recently you have become a Field Marshal, how does it feel like?
Raquelors: To become a FM is every player's goal and the feeling is very good!
READ US & LINK: How much effort is hidden behind this rank title?
Raquelors: There is a great deal of training, work, activity, sweat and patience in it.
READ US & LINK: How have you become a military officer, what is the way of becoming one, could you share a peace of advice to the young ambicious present and future Fire Lizards?
Raquelors: I have become an officer over time, working in military companies, constantly fighting in battles for eCroatia as well as for our Eden alies. I think that being and staying active in eR is the best way of advancing through the game.
READ US & LINK: Is anything else important beside constant activity?
Raquelors: Yes, it is important to train and work every day and and to have someone who can help you with everything, just as I had.
READ US & LINK: Who was your menthor?
Raquelors: Mr. Kokach, the present MoD of eCroatia.
READ US & LINK: And who did you menthor? How many Lizards have passed throug the Squad X?
Raquelors: I have been a menthor for approximately a dozen of players, and through the Squad X has passed between 50 and 80 pepole.
READ US & LINK: According to your oppinion, what is the highest value of the eRepublik game?
Raquelors: The highest value of eRepublik iz definitely meeting new people and hanging out with them.
READ US & LINK: What has drowned you to the eR? What has kept you in the game?
Raquelors: I was drowned to the game by fighting eHungarians and eSerbs. 😃
READ US & LINK: Have you met someone from the eR in person?
Raquelors: Yes, I've met my friends from Varazdin, and some other players like Borkan, Kokach, Bojanski and Puma and I've also met some other players from my region.
READ US & LINK: You have mentioned that you donated 3 weapon companies to the Lizards, so you have tried yourself in eR enterpreneurship? Does it pay off investing in eR companies? I there any profit in it? What do you currently invest in?
Raquelors: Yes, there are always some companies worth opening, you just need to watch the market and of course have some gold!!! Currently I don't run any company because I am preocupied by work in the Headquarters of Zdrug and by my RL.
READ US & LINK: eCroatia has elected a new presitend few day ago, what are your expectations during his mandate?
Raquelors: I expect GDP to rize, as well as our population and to keep control over all our orginal territories.
READ US & LINK: Could you tell us something about you in RL, of course only the things which you wish to share with our readers?
Raquelors: OK, my name is Dejan [pronaunced Dayaan], I am 33, I have a wife and two sons, I work in Financial Agency in Varazdin, Croatia and I have a Master Degree in financial economics.
READ US & LINK: How much is the eR model of the world similar to the real world, especially concerning the economical part?
Raquelors: I think that it is similar by political organisation mostly, but economically not too much.
READ US & LINK: Do the laws of supply and demand rule in eWorld economy, are there the same problems as in RL? What are the similarities and what are the differences?
Raquelors: Well, in short, I think that if the RL were as the eR world, everybody would be happy!
READ US & LINK: What would Croatia learn from eCroatia? And vice versa?
Raquelors: That's a tough one. I think that eCroatia and RL Croatia are really not comparable.
READ US & LINK: Why not? Are ther not politics, military, population, and their mutual relationships in both worlds? Also the economical and military alliances and decisions? And the ways and procedures of decisionmaking and reaching goals...?
Raquelors: Well, all in all, from politics, military and everything else in eRepublik, eCroatia is simply much much better and more successful than the RL Croatia.
READ US & LINK: What do you think, what is the reason for that?
Raquelors: The main reason and the difference is in the people who run eCroatia and RL Croatia.
READ US & LINK: Do you have any future plans in eR? Is there anything what you'd like to accomplish, and you haven't had a chance yet?
Raquelors: I plan to stay a soldier in eRepublik, just as I was from the beginning. I was also a businessman and a congressman, but I prefer being the soldier.
READ US & LINK: What does your nick Raquelors stand for, where did it come from?
Raquelors: Well, the name Raquelors is original, however it's not related to anything or anyone special. It has no special meaning...
READ US & LINK: What is the moment in the eR you are the most proud of, and what is the smae kind of moment in RL?
Raquelors: I am the most proud of our last epic battle against Hungarians, Serbs and Slovenes, and in the RL I was the most proud when my sons were born.
READ US & LINK: Well, of course!
READ US & LINK: So, what are the most important things in eR and in RL? Staying together and being with the family?
Raquelors: Yes, that's right.
READ US & LINK: What would be your message to new players who have just opened eR for the first time, and what would you like to say to more experienced players?
Raquelors: My message to the new players is not to be afraid to ask anythiny they want to know, and to those players who are a bit more experienced I'd like to say to stay together as they have stayed so far!
READ US & LINK: Do you have a message for Phoenix, our new old opponents in eR?
Raquelors: Yes, of course I have a message for Phoenix.
Raquelors: Phoenix-FAIL!!!!!!😃 That's enough.

How to be well equipped in eRepublik - The (New) Useful Scripts

You should install add-ons which will help you to be well informed.
For start, I'd recommend you to use Mozilla Firefox or Opera because they support different add-ons for eRepublik, and these are:
eRepublik plus - the best add-on in the whole eRepublik - very proffesional tool written by PeeKaBooh - more information about this tool as well as the userguide you could read in his newspapers. It saves your clicking, brings you many economic parameters to the screen, which you'll find useful (wellness calculator, job and market offers in gold currency for comparison on different markets), and more. One of the things you could also find useful is Translate button in eRepublik plus which helps you to read foreign newspapers. Depending on the language, the translation is not grammatically perfect, could be far from it, but you'll understand what the text is about, even if in Romanian, Finnish, Hungarian or Farsi for instance. So you could be well informed what's happening anywhere in the world, in ally or enemy country.

GreaseMonkey for Firefox you'll definitely need that one as a platform for eRepublik plus, as well as the most of the other eRepublik add-on scripts.

eToolkit - an integrated toolkit of useful eRepublik tools, among which are the Battle Watch, raw materials and products Donater, the Better Fight battle adviser, the Company Market which estimates good opportunities for company purchase on the company market, Region Info, which brings you region infrastructure for every region in the country on the stats info page. Finally, the most usefel, at least for me - the ProfIT which calculates - you guessed - the profit of the companies which you manage, both for a single employee as well as for the whole company. All modules can be activated and deactiveted by a simple single mouse click. The eToolkit was programed by a team of experienced Hungarians.

eRepublik Unit Leader - useful for every commander of a military unit who wants to pay attention where the members of his unit are, how do they advance and how much damage can make the whole unit as well as a single member.

My Favorite eNewspapers
1. Sverige idag - Swedish ideas, very interesting and practical articles, contains many interesting eR tutorials, translated to more than 10 languages, covers the editing of the articles in e-newspapers and Tutorial for future Congressmen among other things.
2. eWorld Trade Centar - ekonomically oriented newspapers, useful articles which cover advancing through the gane with argumented examples and statistics, each issue is published in a different country.
3. Brave New World - liberal and rational attitudes, detailed eR tutorials, international affairs, military and historical topics.
4. Viribus unitis - funny, a little bit provocative articles, excellent!
5. Kontrapunkt - satirical, ironical, black humored newspapers which mainly deals with Croatian neighboorhood.
Remark: The newspapers contain useful advice and recommendations, too. Read cautionly!
