Interview with Anjan Sakar (part 1 of 2)

Day 525, 11:09 Published in India Austria by H. S. Dovewatch

Dear eIndia,

Here is the first part of the interview I conducted with Anjan Sakar over his plans to become President of eIndia. I am part way through Nokian's too, but not enough to publish while Blazed has stated 'I will give an Interview when the time is right'.

Anyway, have fun!

Robert Knotsworth: Good afternoon Anjan.
Anjan Sarkar: Good evening Robert
Robert Knotsworth: First of all I would like you ask you a little about yourself?
Anjan Sarkar: beginning with Rl: I’m a student right now, 18 years old and going to get admission into engineering with major in electronics then looking forward to management.1and n 1/2 months from now I’ll join college and as I don’t know about how much I will be availed to net in my hostel, so this is perhaps my last opportunity to be president of eIndia. Now for eRep life; I have been around for about 5 months. I began in Pakistan occupied India then moved on to India. I joined the India First party with Srachit, brood, dion n the old hats. I helped in India's development (a little), and then as I was the only really active proper RL Indian, I began to call in more n more people. And as India was growing, so struck the Indonesian TO. I joined forces with the other politicians to help in the diplomatic talks, if it hadn’t been Indonesia, perhaps we would have got many regions by now... anyways... I then suggested calling in more people and getting them to be active in politics and so this is eIndia as you see now. Anyways... I served as the secretary to MoFA under Brood right after I joined eIndia, and then two times MoFA till date. To more recent developments; I took initiative regarding state owned companies by starting and dedicating a wood company in Jhharkhand which until now has generated a little cash we can pool in and ample wood supply. That’s that, a little about me.
Robert: I see you're quite into the development of eIndia then, what would be your policies as president for any further development?
Anjan: 1st n foremost I wood like to organise things more. The program of bringing in more people to eIndia has to b given a better shape, I wood like to alter the current govt. system too, adding a Commerce Council or it can be
Rechristened. It will be a group of experienced businessmen who will help run the companies of the newcomers. And also give occasional donations to the state for benefit of the state-owned companies (this concept depends on the success of the current state-owned company) I would like to give more importance to the ambassadors and increase trade b/w the countries.
Robert: You intend to focus on the economic side of eIndian development then?
Anjan: socio-economic side because my idea of economic development isn’t complete without social development. We need to use the resources generated by the economy to be invested in the state-owned companies which will have greater control over the market. Also the new guys; if we give them only a small boost they can do wonders. More gift companies and hospitals lead to a healthy and in course of time wealthy and strong India.
Robert: So I see that you are very enthusiastic about business, but foreign relations are a big part of eIndia's problems, how do you intend to tackle them?
Anjan: as I mentioned, I want ambassadors to play a more important role. We can’t help regarding the WW3, so what we can do is get the sympathy and cooperation of the countries opposed to the WW3, preferentially neutral countries. Also it may be that India can play a role in World politics by initiating an anti-war and anti-colonialism movement. It’s hypothetical right now but can take better shape if moulded correctly.
Robert: As you are an anti-imperialist and a pacifist, what are your opinions regarding a third alliance?
Anjan: A third alliance will mean the beginning of another PEACE. All I want to say is that by having cordial relations with more countries we can influence them not be lured by the alliances. As MoFA I had noticed that a good no. of countries aren’t too happy with the actions of the leaders of their alliances, but they are afraid. I wood like to give these countries moral strength.
Robert: Okay, so I'm getting the impression you intend to stay neutral permanently?
Anjan: yup, I ain’t with any of the pro-PEACE or pro-ATLANTIS guys.
Robert: I see. Moving on, what are the policies you intend to implement regarding the recruitment of new citizens?
Anjan: I would like to create two teams: one team of RL Indians who will infiltrate almost any mass communication means they get hands on (e.g. orkut, facebook) as there are many such sites where there are loads of Indians, I would want every RL Indian to inform every1 in their address lists regarding eRepublik. Next, the 2nd team will be either non-RL Indians or non- resident Indians. There r many people outside India who are at sympathy to the Indians so we need to call in all of these guys, especially guys from colonized countries. These guys will be a boon to eIndia, as you are proving to be right now!
Robert: Why thank you! But speaking of colonized countries, what do you intend to do with the stale Indian military?
Anjan: 1) A hospital company and practice war sessions with friendly countries, this is what gave Indonesia its current military power
2) As more guys come in, we need to see that there military skills grow and for this-apart from encouraging them to train regularly-we need to provide some weapons. MUCH of the problem will begin to get resolved once India has a Q4/Q5 hospital.
As India has its neutral stand both alliances will be interested to help India with practice wars, so we need good diplomats for that purpose too. And now Robert, its dinner time here do u mind if we continue tomorrow?
Robert: Not at all
Anjan: I’m starving; you can add that the President Candidate is as hungry for food as he is for eIndian Development!

And so we finished, but hopfully we'll return with more soon. If there is anything you want me to cover, please comment.

Thanks,

Robert Knotsworth,

Journalist
