Interactive Map of Australia (regions, raw materials, constructions, etc...)
daniferi
I have been starting a new project to automatize some things in my map and the update will be more simple. I started the whole thing from the begining to be easier to develop it later.
I created the map of Australia that you can see following this link:
http://web.kabelnet.hu/daniferi/australia/map.html
Usage is simple, just click and you will get the info.
But I have a bad news as well: The map does not work with IE. (This doesn't surprise me, but I want to fix the code)
The good news: I tested it with Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox and it works properly.

aw thats gay, i use IE 🙁 but it sounds really great m8. Nice job 😃 i did manage to get an idea of what uve got going.
Nice work, submit this to admin team as a suggestion so they can make this for the whole eworld and integrate it into the current map system.
great work 🙂
Pretty neat
Yours is accurate! In eAustralia, Victoria's capital - Melbourne is in Sth Australia
I like it - voted.
...and I agree - this should be standard when viewing the world map
Yeah this is great, definatly a must for the eWorld. Is there a way we can get the eWorld to add ACT as a territory? i'd like that.
yeah where i used to elive
Great job there daniferi! Just one suggestion, I guess it would be useful to mark the original country for each region too, maybe as an under-layer or just mention it between (..). Cheers!
Argh, don't mind my last comment, I've confused your map's link with the one posted by Lee Deity on http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/a-new-way-of-looking-at-the-new-world-754082/1/20 (Asia network). Sorry for mixing things.
@Kristache - Actually am planning that. The tricky bit is, of course, finding out what the original country was for each region, as eRepublik doesn't have that information readily available.
Br0ad, you use IE?
(does his best to disguise a mix of horrified gasping & snickering)
I think it'd be cool to see the map(s) made by Lee and the info system created by daniferi integrated into one system 😉
aye i do, tried firefox didnt like it, google chrome is a terror and i find that IE does the job 😉
@Lee Deity You could use the very nice tool made by carbon:
http://ereptools.pl/regions
And Derek is right, it would be very useful to add resource data to your region bubbles 🙂
I'm currently looking at a API that I could use w/ PHP to extract the needed data from ER and write to a .xml file 😉
Did that make sense and do you see where I'm going with this train of thought?
