Integrity, Trust and Black Lists

I Haz Sumptin To Say
I came across this article in a shout from one of my eRep friends. I knew this friend had turned his back on Ajay Bruno, AKA: Pizza The Hut, AKA: Pizza The HUT II, AKA: General Cartman Lee, and that he was now in Switzerland (and doing quite well for himself there). However I had no idea of who he had been when he was involved in Pizza's scheme.
I ask that you would please read his article, comment and then shout the hell out of it here in the eUS and abroad. If there was ever an indictment of Pizza's BS, this is it! It speaks directly to the issue of a "Black List". This player was pretty much at the top in Pizza's little facade and is now prominent and very active in Switzerland. A person I am proud to call eFriend. Following is the comment I left in that article.
Holy SHIT Gertrude!
(BTW, turn me in for saying SHIT, I do not care. I will gladly take the FP.)
I remember crossing comments and the having PM's with this man. I don't know jkli5's real age, and after reading this, I do not care, he is a man in every sense of the word. At the first I was his antagonist. He staunchly defended Pizza in the comments of some article (I do not know which). He criticized me for "picking" on Pizza. Instead of simply calling him an ignorant n00b (which I have been known to tell people), I responded with a logical argument to defend my position. He PM'ed me. Instead of flaming or presenting the usual flimflam propaganda jkli5 proceeded to debate with me, presenting reasonable arguments for his point. Finally we simply agreed to disagree and ended up friending each other. We continued to cross paths and still do to this day.
Cut to the chase
I did not know the details that are presented here. It is very enlightening to me, reading this article, that jkli5 was so deeply involved with Pizza. I can see now that my perception of the slow turning away from defender to critic was correct. I have no idea if my argument against Pizza had an effect in this change, but I would like to think so. The bottom line is that I now have the utmost respect for jkli5. I deem him to be a most trustworthy player and would like to publicly say that if he were to ever wish to return to the eUSA, I will back him and put my own reputation on the line to vouch for his integrity. jkli5 more than proves that it is possible to fully recover from a negative reputation due to poor choices in this game. All those who think our "black list" is unfair should think again and those on the "black list" should take a lesson.
To tie it off
I will print a copy of this comment in my paper, with a link back to jkli5's article. People in the eUSA shall know what has been said. I will make a point of spreading the word and I have a very big mouth.
That's All Folks
Like I said, please comment and shout his article. jkli5 deserves to be heard in the sea of whiners that half ass want to defend Pizza and his cronies.
Thank you for your time,
Dill

Thank you again! Thank you for not shutting me down when I was with pizza, Its nice you gave me a chance.
jkli5 has impressed me too in private conversations. That said, it will be quite some time before I can trust people. That's just me.
It's sad that Pizza had the ability to make one not trust others over a game.
I imagine in real life too.
He should work at Gitmo
@PIZ, understandable.

One of the bad things about a blacklist is it is secret. If you know you are on it, maybe you can get yourself off. If everyone knows you are on it, the shunning may bring home the need to change.
@weasel2, yes, jikl5 found out the hard way he was blacklisted. The point is that once you are shunned, either public or in secret, there is only one way to regain that trust. Prove yourself worthy of trust.
secret blacklist?
cmon this is game
"... and I have a very big mouth." Agreed.
Well, in two days you well be seeing an article from me(two years since i've played this game). I was in the same spot as jkli5 and was wack. i was never black listed but i lost a ton of freinds that day.
I loled.
Thats a hell of a way to lose friends
I'm a 7 star general, fear me!
I like how had to pick a character with the word general in his name.
I'm a twenty star general, I'm better than you, deershark.
Cartman=Ajay
I like how he picks his kind of characters : P
Glad to see he was willing to publish his experience so people see what Pizza is really like.
Let the guy play, because there are way too many sinners deciding who is going to be blacklisted that shouldn't be throwing stones at anyone.
I never had much to do with Ajay, but the problem is really not Ajay. The problem is scapegoating. Ajay is a convenient scapegoat for those who don't want to deal with the hypocrisy.
@Samuel Seabury You have no idea who ajay is apparently, he isn't being used as a scapegoat, he acts alone most of the time.
It's not so much the hypocritical power mongers or making Ajay a scapegoat. The problem pointed out in my friends article is the manipulation of n00bs to perform political and social suicide to further the ambitions of a leader who could care less about that n00bs future.
As a reference, here is a real life comparison.
