Inflation in eAustria

8 Day 749, 10:18 Austria
Inflation in eAustria

The monetary inflation of the ATS has increased a lot during the last 4 weeks. From over 70 ATS for 1 gold you get nowadays only some 35 or 45 ATS.
Our money is losing value more and more.
What can the government do? The aministration could make supportive buy outs of gold to increase the ATS. Also the support of companies for more liquidity - with money spending - could help stop inflation.

Inflation in eÖsterreich

Sorry Alfred, but even the intention behind it is messed up. Deflation tends to be better for the general population.

First on: What perspective are we talking about? Coming from ATS it's a deflation, coming from Gold it's an inflation. Also raw numbers are by far not everything. Have you taken into account the change in purchasing power? Back then you didn't get q1 food under 1.50. Now it's less than a half (markets are at unrest right now, check in some days to compare). If you really think about it, it's actually in favor of the people to have a strong ATS.

I agree that the MoF has been strangely silent though in the last weeks. No more accounts and balances? How about all those ideas we've discussed for raising money for alliances? What about the current market situation, the ATS is quite deviating from what the MoF has long set as a target. Back to the old transparancy and open discussions with actions following would be nice.

He doesn't really do shit all he does is put gold on the market when its need. I was going to hire a minister in this field who was actually going to address how dependent we are on other countries for resources, if you look in the raw resources markets in this country they are about 200% on some resources hire then in other countries. Some shit needs to be addressed we need an involved minister willing to actually fix our market that is the first step in my opinion.

Sorry, I was unclear in explaining the problem:

I meant a DEFLATION of the ATS and an INFLATION of the gold price in eAustria.
The outcome from that is, that accounts in GOLD are loosing value, if you need for instance liquid money for your company and using gold transfer for that.
