In January Newzoo released a 74 page report on data and surveys they collected and conducted in South East Asia.

In essence their report says:

A few key facts illustrate the region’s growth potential. Newzoo estimates the population of Southeast Asia at 626 million. Only a small share of these people have access to internet; about 29 percent, which represents 179 million consumers. In this group, gaming is extremely popular, the firm says. Over 70 percent of them play games.

Of these 126 million gamers, 60 million spend money on games. Last year, these 60 million consumers spent an average of $18.40 on games annually. As KPIs differ drastically per country in Southeast Asia, Newzoo believes Thailand will remain the largest games market in terms of revenues come 2017, followed closely by Indonesia and Malaysia. Similarly, Vietnam is expected to grow in line with the overall market to maintain its market share of 14 percent. Singapore will continue to grow, but lose some of its market share to faster growing countries, namely Indonesia and the Philippines.

Indonesia is the fastest growing market in this area

Earlier this year a baby boom was started in Indonesia and given the data it should be no surprise that this country quickly became the biggest country in the eWorld.

Now lets track their data

Bust or Boom

Politics

Simply put political activity was never high and with the dictator module it seems nobody bothers anymore with congress and country president elections. But as I have shown. One simply never could deduce the population from their political activity. Even during their heyday when they had 19000 or so citizens only 15% voted. So Indonesia has never been able to get a good voter turnout. If a player is inactive in other areas politics might keep him in the game for example Don Croata.

Military?

Well if they had a baby boom and from population change between 2014 till now they must have. Their damage would not be that much.

And indeed their 27th in damage with 7 billion damage

In opponents defeated their 29th with 20159 still their babies could be brewing still.

Their biggest MU have 246 players and did 11 billion damage last week in Division 4. Clerics with 14 men and about 4 or 5 in Division 4 did 9 billion.

Economy

Ireland have a daily tax income of about 2900 whereas Indonesia who is ranked 2 in size have an daily tax currently occupied of 2700 cc.

So where is the activity?

Here is the problem? When a new player starts the game he is told build up your strength and do not fight unless you can afford the infantry kit. He has no money to build up factories and is also told not to work in factories or wam click as that would increase his experience.

Still with 2000 citizens beforehand where is Indonesia. How can Ireland with a 10% of their population have a better tax income and that is based on Plato's numbers.

So in short I think Indonesia is the greatest sham in the entire eRepublik something eUsa had now started exploiting. Because their numbers simply do not correlate to anything useful in eRepublik. Their weak on all 3 fronts MILITARY, POLITICS AND ECONOMY.

But why?

eRepublik really isn't a very friendly game to begin with for older and newer players. Lets say the eBench is say 50000 strength for a new player. Taking max training it would take him 543 days to get there. Most uber players is running on bought accounts there is no way Tomislav waited that time. So if the only way you can get a leg up is by doing an illegal transaction it all makes some sense. A new player wont stick around for 543 days would he in a country like Indonesia where he is bombarded by choice where there is probably 3 or 4 similar games hosted for him in his own market. Where he even gets paid to play some games. Why waste money on a game that pays you nothing if your number 1(discounting illegal transactions) and it takes you years to accomplish.

On an economic principle it takes so long to actually build up factories except if your a good bh medalist.

But the problem is for older players they must hold the fort for Plato they must arrange the baby booms. With the figures above. Can I ask you something? Why is in that countries baby boom's at all arranged by players why not by eRepublik themselves. Even if for example Ireland raises 1000 USD how much air time will it buy how many people will their ad reach. And what is the reward for community. Certainly an improvement in game play. But should we be paying for this or eRepublik.

But Plato has all the resources but how much is going towards building up the population again? It seems zero. Better to hide the true stats and wait for players to D.I.Y their populations than spending a few bucks hey Plato?

And then we sit with the problem of keeping players here. Indonesia lost 11 000 players in 6 months and then baby boomed again. If this was driven by eRepublik your a fool Plato. Your an utter fool.

We said if a player wants to accomplish anything he must wait 543 days. Guess he does not have to. But there is the problem he will be up against armies stuffed with these players. And will become a valuable military player only much later.

But the best model massive strength training is probably done by multi hatcheries. People that build up these accounts to sell them again on the market.

So each time we see we go to the black market for solutions that must be in the game itself. Why not set a toggle up to division 3 that allows a player to not gain experience with anything? Why should this be a bought option.

You see we are all heading in one direction with this whole debacle and that simply is that the game would only attract a very minute percentage of online players for the time it requires to accomplish something. Would it be 1%? But here is the kicker the players of eRepublik must not find that 1 percent if Plato is not going to change the game. And I'm sorry I dont know how one fixes that. Plato's strategy must be to continuously baby boom all countries. Raise the awareness of the game in all countries. Claim it is the only online representation of your country online(even if its a lie). SELL THE GAME . If your searching for the 1 percent massive amounts of players must waddle through here. 100k to keep 1000. 10000 to keep 100 1000 to keep 10 100 to keep 1.

Now we all know our relative sizes so Plato can see for example that Ireland would need atleast 1000 new players a month to eventually keep 10 of them. The USA , Indonesia etc atleast 10000 to keep 100 a month.

But eRpeublik must do all this and lay out every cent to accomplish this. I am sorry I dont go around town and introduce people to coke the drink. I dont say here try this coke and knowingly smile and follow it up with good huh. No I dont. So why should I go around town and peddle eRepublik?
