Indo.... The planned deal.

Hello eIndonesia,

Firstly sorry for my lack of Bahasa, but it has been many many years since I spoke it. I use to be able to speak it quite well back in 1997 when I lived in Jakarta for 2 years. I was there during the Suharto times and only left when he was removed from power, due to the instability and safety issues in the country.

Well enough of that, let me explain the point of this 'open message' to the citizens of eIndonesia. As many of you would of read the article released by Kattrrina, which can be found here I said I would explain the offer/deal Australia had tried to make with eIndonesia. But before I do, please let me give you a rough time line of events (I know you have had a recent baby boom and some of these people might not know).

Pre-2015

In the past eIndonesia use to be the powerhouse nation in Asia. I remember eIndonesia always keeping eAustralia wiped and refusing any form of congress. eIndoneisa had a strong, loyal and hard working community that always want to remain on top in Asia. Apart of that was keeping Australia wiped so they could enjoy the Weapons Resources eAustralia had on offer.

Dec '14 - Jan '15

eIndonesia had just finished wiping out eAustralia once again, when I was elected CP for my first time in Jan. I immediately started to reach out to eIndo about trying to secure a region or two for Australia. This was well received and we worked out a deal which enabled eIndo to keep 2 regions in Australia (rent and tax free = Indo did not pay anything for it and kept the tax income) and in return Indo promised not to invade Australia and also recognize it's remaining core regions.

Jan '15 - Sept '15

During this time, eIndo entered a dark era. Due to what I believe was senior players either leaving the game or moving to other eCountries, eIndo become a shell of its former self. First of all it was wiped by eUSA and then several other countries came and took over, eVene, ePeru and I think also eColumbia had fun there for a while.

Also during this time, eAust always kept it's door open to eIndo, asking if they needed a hand or their plans. This was partially due to my involvement in Aust politics and also due to the fact eAust knew first hand the feeling of being wiped and wanting to help out a neighbour. Even to the point Australia went to war with Vene to help free regions for eIndo and then handed those regions back with out asking for anything in return.

Sept '15 - Now

But now we have the latest chapter in the eIndo/eAust relationship. eIndo parliament voted for an NE on Australia, this vote was passed with only one 'No' vote against it. This also passed approx 1 month after eIndo signed a deal to NE Australia when ever it suited them to help ePeru, with out discussion with eAust. Plus 1 week after eAust helped free eIndo from Vene....

From that event, eIndo attacked Northern Territory which it lost and eAust turned the war around and took all of the eIndo regions. Once the war was over, JackTrout the then CP of eAustralia immediately started to return regions as a sign of good will and faith towards eIndonesia. Then came the new CP elections....

- First the good will was thrown out by starting an RW with out discussion or going by the plan progress towards peace,
- eIndo had an attempted MTO which Australia shouted to fight against, sent fighters, contacted friendly MUs to help eIndo and even set COs to help keep democracy in eIndo
- and now your facing an attack from ePhilippines.

What was the offer?

The offer that was on the table for eIndo was one that promoted growth and protection for eIndo. It allowed both countries to grow together and also allowed room for improved relations. Some of the basic clauses were as follows NOTE:(this is not cut and paste as it breaches eAust national security policy to provide screen shots or cut and paste):

- eAust was to release all regions except for LSL and Maluka as a sign of good faith to eIndo.
- Australia was to keep LSL and Maluka, for these two regions eAust was going to return all tax income from them and pay region rent for the two regions.
- Bargining point eIndo gets Northern Territory to help with its bonuses, eAust gets Sumatra for its bonuses and to have a region free to ensure congress. No rent paid on this region swap, instead taxes return.
- eAust will ensure eIndo has a region for congress.
- eAust will defend all core regions of eIndo and make any attack on eIndo a priority in its daily orders to defend eIndo.
- Once eIndo is stable again, both community wise and country wise, discussions would continue on further region releases.
- Discussion point Possible TW's to ensure TP and FF medals can be gained by citizens of both countries.

That was some of the main discussion points, on the sidelines, I myself had discussed with senior players a plan to help grow your citizens with TG loans etc. Because I want to see a strong Indo that was friendly with Australia.

But your current leadership threw this deal straight out with out discussing any points.

Even with this deal thrown out, I still am committed to eIndo/eAust future friendship, hence the COs set from my own pocket to help you guys defend democracy in eIndo.
