What is the deal with this law proposal right here? I have not found any discussion about this at all, though, admittedly, I haven't been digging too deeply.

However, alliance with a former bitter enemy seems like a fairly momentous event. There should be some kind of banquet with cake and dignitaries in evening attire right? Where is the Truth and Reconciliation Committee for the prisoners of war? Where are the dancing girls?

More importantly, who are the congressmen voting for this without discussing it with the rest of the eUS first?
