A look at the IDF division structure and numbers promoted this month

3rd Reserves
Well we've had an eventful month in the IDF Barracks. We had an influx of 91 new recruits ready to serve their country in arms. A large number of these new brutes (41) needed to be transported to the nearest hospital at once by our 3rd Reserves commanding officer known to all as our Irish Princess. Once moving tickets were in order, and our lads and lassies had spent a comfortable nite in the hospital with the Irish Princess tending to their wounds and wellness, it was time for boot camp.

2nd Reserves
Some of those enlisted were now promoted to the 2nd reserves our training division. Out practicing their shooting by day, their post fighting bandaging techniques by nite.... and reading up on how to do it all at some quantum hour of neither day or nite..... eventually these rough soldiers got to grips with their weapons. Effecient fighting comes down to a mix of strength, wellness and knowledge. At this stage our soldiers are dieting on a ration of q1 bread and q0 water. Practicing their bareknuckled fighting against some of the fiercest battlewiery warriors of the Philippines on a daily basis, striving for that next rank and in turn the respect of their peers and superior officers.

Regulars Divisions
15 soldiers roughed it for long enough and could take no more, with the defence of Ireland paramount in their minds they made leaps forward in their training achieving their first (of many) super soldier medals and a rank above Private. These fine brutes are to be commended on their dedication to their training and should be an inspiration to all those walking into the barracks to sign-up. But the road does not end here..... Ireland expects the best of its soldiers in arms.... no, it DEMANDS the best of them.... and such dedication is rewarded in kind. These citizens, once ignorant of the ancient fighting rituals of EIRE, are now proud members of the Regulars. Do not let the name confuse you, for what is thought of as regular in eIreland only shows us the high standards we set ourselves to achieve. Here the recruits find a more stable environment with a conscientious commanding officer tutoring and mentoring them as they seek to attain the rank of Colonel and train for that illustrious 2nd super soldier medal. At times soldiers in the Regulars may fall down, they may rest their arms and refrain from combat... but their brothers in the division will rally them and their CO shall inspire them to lift their chin to look out upon the green fields of eIreland, at our community of friendship and hardfought debate, and they shall not falter..... they shall not let the enemy of passivity and inactivity invade their minds. It is a long journey to that second super soldier medal and 10 strength, but is the journey that carves the soldier with each moment of hardship forming bonds between the brothers of the Regulars division.

Hands so big the flag ripples when I salute! 07

Fusilier Divisions
Alas it is a sad time indeed to move on from those who you've carried in times of difficulty, and they you in times of need. Once Colonel and 10 strength a soldier must cast lay aside the bond between themself and the Regular division.... promotion to the Fusiliers awaits. However encouragement beyond the divisions ensures friends are reunited once more in their epic quest for their next fight, their next training session, their next rank. Fusiliers have learned to be calm in the chaos of regions being invaded and retreated, wars being iniated and dissolved. Stong enough to stare an ox to death behind a Barney the dinosaur mask, at this stage in their training the focus is weapons, weapons and more weapons. q1 pistols are the order of the day. Small, cheap and effecient.... the Fusiliers are to be provided with supplementary wages contingent on fufilling their duty to eIreland.... dependent on them focusing on improving themselves as individual soldiers so we may fight together as a largely improved nation.

😁 Thanks to Doughnut

Rangers Divisions
Showing their age, experience and ability.... the Rangers divisions command respect and honour. Having embarked on their epic journey through the divisions of the Irish Defence Forces and devoted themselves in body, mind and spirit to eIreland and their countrymen (and women!).... these soldiers face the final frontier, the ultimate challenge of their career carrying out their duties in reverence of eIreland. The words "Field Marshal" evoke emotions of a strong nature in a Ranger. Those too words are both a curse, (for it is no easy feat to achieve FM), and their cure..... for once that emblem signifying a FM is sown into their uniform they join the Creme de la Creme of the Irish Defence Forces.

Giants amoung citizens, Living Legends, Our Tanking Force, Our demi-gods raised to a higher being by the super sekret magik of WPs and q5 guns. Their names linger in our minds as they post their comments, articles or... if we are lucky enough... as their astronomical figures for damage flash across our screens on the battlefield. Some say the military grade hurley of Cú Chulain himself resides within the depths of Na Fiannas underground bunker. Others, who shall remain anonymous, even swear to having seen Nith WITH pants in that cavernous chain of underground passways. During the month Einberliner and Longbaugh managed to drag themselves up from the mere mortals to take their place in the Hall of Legends. Congratulations to you both🙂
