Idea of a REAL wargames between Romania and Hungary [UPDATE]
I don't want to write the details of the recent situation of the game. Everyone knows, that many players are bored without serious action, not speaking about the economical recession either. It's not just a problem in Hungary, but in Poland, Romania and I'm sure that in many other countries too.
This leads to common trolling, frustration and many other things, which are everything, but not funny and be honest, games are for getting fun, right?
What if Romania and Hungary would organise a REAL wargame. We could write a contract about the exact conditions about it, which means the common mutual activating of eachothers MPPs to obtain a worldwide fun and to avoid the problems in the future, we could set the allowed maximum duration of the occupation of the captured regions.
We could declare, if we want to end the games, the two congress would just sign peace to close the war with the MPPs and reopen the war without those if we want to reestablish the original state.
Of course we could give stakes to the wargames. For example, if the forces in the Romanian side would manage to conquer 4 regions of Hungary, we would give a region back to Canada.
As I mentioned, its just an idea and it contains my subjective opinion, but maybe this could be a way to break the common boredom in the game. What do you think?
UPDATE:
In the last hours, I got dozens of PMs about this article. It seems, that many players would support it from both side. The clear rules would eliminate the disturbing things, which are the consequence of a direct war and many players find it comfortable.
Some other idea (every content is fixed just until the contract of the wargame is valid)
- Invite other countries too, to create a more intersting game
- Fix the borders, what the participants has to recreate according to the set conditions
- Create objectives and turns according to the fixed borders
An example: Objective for Romania is to capture and hold SGP for 3 days, if its done, the turn is won by Romania, we reset the borders and start a new turn with new objectives
- With more participating countries we can create multiple objectives
- We can offer stakes, to make the game serious. The stake is won by that party who fullfiles the winning objectives of a given turn

How about asking your good friends the Serbs to lend you a region .
Then you will have a War GAme ..not MPP s activated and so on .

Because looking around the eRomanian border I see a lot of Peace countries that could block us ..and that is really unfair

Actually, that's a great Idea.
That would be nice but it would be a nightmare to make it kosher and you know that.
Let's start a Wargame with two little country, Hungarian MPP on one side, Romanian on the other site and activate both. Peru vs Bolivia for example?
How about PEACE sends in 5-10 countries, and EDEN sends in the same number of countries? And figth through MPPs somewhere in a quit area, like South America.
Of course that would mean that all countries agree not to launch distraction wars or RWs, to keep it fair.
And it should have some stake, like return/conquer of one region or the other.
If the admins refuse to make changes which would keep the game fun, we should do it ourselves.

Sounds OK for me, but it would certainly take time to settle the rules (who attacks first, who can be blocked, how many countries) - and some backbone from every country to not brake them

As it would be a "fake" war, with a known result (loosing / winning ONLY a region), I don't think the parties will fight to the full (a so called EPIC war)! It'll be some kind of training war, but with a small twist to it! And - as it can be seen - we all need that "epic" thing!

This is a game, you don't need to create new game mechanics by means of contracts. Everything is there. In the game.

@Adiemus: tell us a way how to figth for real? Activating MPPs would not be fair (face it, full PEACE > full EDEN), and with the current situation we can't go a one on one either (USA or Canada would jump in, RWs would be started).
This would have been interesting if the public wouldn't have known the plan and fought as a "real" war!

Make a contract containing just one thing: if one side pushes attack and activates MPPs, then the other side is obliged to do the same.
The rest can be settled without a contract.

I can see why are u so dispareted to make a war againts Romania , coz hungary dies that every day passes , and in 1 month at this negative grow pop u will have less then 10k pop. Although making the penalty 20,000G and make PEACE and EDEN liable rather than the countries because 5000G to PEACE is nothing if they get to conquer romania in return and vice versa.

I doubt Romania would ever agree (even on contract with a huge fine if broken) to activate Hungary's MPPs. We all saw what happened 1 month ago with the 123456-pwd-thing and the panic/fear that was in Romania when that happened.
No guts for it. And obviously I'm not only talking about Romania but all the F/E countries. None of them will activate PEACE GC MPPs on any country. Not USA in UK, not Romania in Hungary, not Croatia in Serbia, Spain in Portugal, Poland in Germany, nobody will. Not anytime soon.

But..
PEACE scores 6.5mil damage in the training war.
EDEN scores 3.5mil damage.
Hungary has a potential of 2.2mil damage, Romania 1.5mil damage.
If we are talking about guts, PEACE and Hungary should bring it.
Other than that Hungary can any time safely attack Romania. A contract would just bring more PEACE to you in the event of an unexpected baby-boom.

Bogdan L on 1v1 i would do it right now. But its not 1v1. We border many F/E and one of them has mpp's against us. Its far too risky. We dont outnumber you 6 to 1 and we would need to face mpps unlike you had against indonesia.

I was thinking more about playing war in the Subcarpathia region of Ukraine - giving Poland, Romania, Hungary and Ukraine space to smack each other in turns.And if played carefully it won't activate mpp's.
Contract based ( so that the region is returned for free to Ukraine once it's all over ).
