Communism is an evil that must be stomped out with any means possible.
Why?
and you're just a retarded :3

communism fails because of bad selfish leaders that use people.
it is still good for people. not for the elite.
erepublik is the best place for communistic campaigns.
yeah it is not for powergamers that just aim for selfish gains.
The imperialistic government is withholding the country's riches from its faithful citizens!!! 😡
Where's our money!?
USSR is death, but Communist ideology alive. USSR 2.0 comming soon!
OMG
Better dead than red!
Communism is in theory the best set of government. The reason why it does not work in reality is because the countries that tried communism in the past granted to much power to the leader of the communist government.
A society with no classes, or private ownership would in theory work better than for example a capitalistic society.
NCL Forever!
A Communist government can never work because it is lead by human beings.
There's a Unification style government that exists in theory, which is basically a Communist government where all resources are shared and used to sustain the population and advance it in the most efficient way possible, except used by a sentient race where such a thing is possible.
Humans are individuals prone to being selfish. Only in a race solely concerned with the concerns of the group, like ants or bees, can a Communist or Unification style government actually exist.
In a game like eRepublik where key aspects of real life haven't been simulated, I firmly believe a Communist government has a leg up on other governments focused on inefficient elitism.
One of Communism's tenants is sharing wealth. If we give newer players enough gold to build their Q4 free and Q4 .19 gold training grounds, they're making money and gaining strength at a breakneck pace compared to what they would otherwise be able to accomplish, and the investment isn't actually very large in each player. If a group of players can be fully loyal to government interest, and their profits re-invested into the economy in some way shape or form, there's no way that any other policy can compete.
The singular issue is with loyalty and corruption, even in this virtual space.
Sadly most of the current Government is not interested in helping younger players with building training grounds. I started a discussion about issuing loans a long time ago, most of the older guys just did not agree.
I assume the issue with that proposal was on an economic level, which is understandable as Norway is the poorest and most targeted of the (partly-)active eCountries. To strengthen our economic power we have to increase our population, which beginners loans might be great for. However, there is no garantuee it'll work, especially not concidering the kind of people this game attracts, and it might be better to get a finger back in to the game before we start investing in a national bank. I didn't participate in this discussion so I don't know what the arguments for and against are, but this is what I can imagine it's about after a quick reflection.
We are not poor actually. The reason behind it was that most people said their was no guarantee to get the money back and so forth which I believe could have been put in place by having time limits, for quick example 6 months for a new born citizen and a year for immigrants or even saying immigrants could never qualify for the program. Most of it was a safety issue because people could die or simply come for the money and leave.
No, we are poor. Just because we've earned a little bit of money from the competitions we've participated in(and maybe someone have donated som cash?) doesn't mean costs are no problem. We still have one of the lowest monthly incomes in the world, and our industry and market is almost non-existant. If we want to invest the money, as we should, it should be invested in to increasing our income, not on high cost-low efficency projects that could be good for us when we can afford it. On other hand, if it's affordable we could enact loans into a baby boom campaign.
I stick by what I said, we can afford it. As well there were other motions to invest cash in ways to increase our income but that was not warmly received either. Lets face it, we have an old Congress, with old values and old ways of doing things and it looks like that will not change any time soon.
That might as well be, but I think lack of will to do anything is part of it all, as well. To be honest, I wouldn't be suprised if half of our congress and cabinet stopped playing eRepublik many months ago, but still stick around for the free congress medals and welcomming society. It's like participating in charity project without doing anything. You just go there for the coffee and to boast about helping the society.
Couldn't have said it any better, exactly what I just published actually, take a look. http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/congress-analysis-report-dec--2356695/1/20
Stakeraou, the argument that we shuld focus on bringing more people to eNorway before we focus on other things is probably the most used. How many times have we attempted a baby boom? How many times have we failed?
Maybe it's time for us to focus on new players, rather then getting more of them. We cannot have more players then we are able to take care of...
Those are the same things. You don't get any more players if the new ones leave anyway. Anyways, the reason why all our baby boom attempts haven't been as successful as first hoped, is because -we- haven't tried. At least everytime I've started a baby boom I've been alone about it, and it has fallen dead as I'm just one guy. Another issue is that when everybody else starts baby boom campaigns they refuse to use the recommended tecniques I learned from Argentina, which have previously worked as a charm and are still available on the forum. Our whole society has to be adapted for attracting and keeping new players, but unfortunatly no one has wanted to help out by splitting the weight.
Saying that we've attempted a baby boom is a lie. We've only talked about it and tested it under the alias of baby boom camaigns.
For example when we held the video contest some months ago, where did that go..? Absolutely no where. We had a video made but it was not put on any RL Norwegian forums or anything.
3-5 RL Norweigans using RL friends will be sufficient. It'll even keep the elite-minded happy because they're expanding their own powerbase by getting super-charged noob friends which can be active in elections they're involved in.
