This is probably more unexpected for me than anyone else. This does seem like the logical next step for someone that is going for too much too fast, but this actually my plan... like... Plan D let's call it.

I'd tried to convince Senryaku to run for President the other day, but he didn't feel like the time was right. Kinda bummed out about that and figured I'd just see what kind of candidates cropped up and just pick one.

Then no other candidates cropped up which, to be honest, I find a bit baffling since MrCarey doesn't have the kind of brand-recognition that tends to ward off bigger fish.

But since that didn't happen, someone said 'Hey you should run, because no one else is running and you're not the worst possible candidate.'

This sorta makes a kind of sense to me, since I also have some pretty weak credentials that mostly involve a game that no one cares about, writing a lot of shit-stirring articles and hijacking a 6th party to be my own personal tree fort.

A lot of people are probably going to think this was my plan all along and I'm just feeding my massive ego. Honestly, I've gotten this reaction a lot in my life and maybe that does imply I do have a massive ego that I'm just blind to, but regardless I've never seen this as particularly productive criticism and have learned to ignore it. This was emphatically not my plan, however, and I'd have started the ground work quite a bit sooner if it had.

That said, however, I am taking this seriously and this isn't a repeat of my lulztastic 2011 Campaign.

I'm kinda busy trying to throw a staff together and stuff, though so...

tl;dr I'm running for President and I intend on continuing my general policy of challenging every institution that needs challenging. I think, in this case, that will end up being Congress.

So, yeah, you know that will be fun.
