Join the new world

Hello Reader,

First off, i completely dropped the ball last month by not declaring myself a candidate on time. But enough of my fringe ideas I am ready for the big stage. I am declaring my intention to run for congress in Indiana under the AMP banner.

Odds are you don't know who i am so let me introduce myself. I am tvotr7 I started this game in 2009 in Israel. When in Israel i joined the eIDF right away. within 4 days I became a Sergeant in the Training Corps. Two weeks later I was promoted to a Sergeant in the defensive corps. Let me remind you that i had a strength of around 2.5 i was around level 8. Two weeks later I become lieutenant of the first defensive corps leading 110 soldiers. you might say that I cruised through my job doing the bare minimum but you couldn't be more wrong. when we were fighting in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv for our independence my only two sergeants were incapable of their duties because of real life issues, so i did what any insane person would do; i relayed messages to all four squads and sent roll calls to all 110 soldiers.

During my military career, I ran for congress once...and won. After my one term i got bored with the game. i realized that all i was doing was 2 clicking, so i stopped playing for a year. Recently, i came back to erepublik and moved to the eUS. In the eUS I quickly joined the eUSA military. Again within a couple of days of being in the training corps i graduated with all honors. now I'm in the Mobile Infantry fighting for my country behind enemy lines.

since last month, we have reconquered our lands and brought the battle to our enemies' doorstep. Call me a warhawk but i think we should continue this assault to put pressure on our enemies. When the time comes for a treaty we will have the upper hand and maybe, just maybe we'll get some money and territories out of this. we can give some of these territories to our old allies to patch up alliances or keep them to moniter our enemies.

Furthermore, while many candidates think the economy is only about taxes, i believe there is more to it. Some ideas: giving money to new citizen to build up businesses, or give money to entrepreneurs to upgrade their business, in return they must provide food/weapons to the government for a set amount of time. when it comes to taxes i will assess our situation and choose to raise or lower taxes when the time comes. we need to remember that there are some people who play this game only for the business. They are a driving force and if they make more money then we make more money. more money means more upgraded foor companies that can sell their food for cheap.

Lastly, i want to combine some militias. while i know it's going to be extremely hard to do i think it must be done. we can't just have a bunch of militias and little "generals" calling all the shots. its divides us and hinders our power during war. A house divided can't stand.

Well that is the skeleton of my campaign. When times are tough you need a leader not soothsayers. lets show congress that we want change. It’s always a good thing to inject new blood in congress especially given our current condition. Let you're voice truly be heard.
