Recently I decided to join MDP because I see them as the only viable choice to lead eCanada into our glorious future. I know you're all asking yourself why I believe MDP is the party for eCanada. The answer my friends is simple: Leadership!
The MDP brings stability to our nation when we need it most. In the past they have provided us with great Presidents like Homer J. Simpson, I-Bleed-Blue-93, Rolo Tahmasee, and our current President the God King Rylde. They have always put good government and diplomacy ahead of petty politics and "entertainment."
MDP or bust!
In order to help my new party I have started a donation program to help with retention, recruitment, and most importantly the war effort. From now, until the end of the occupation by our imperialist oppressors I will be donating to all MDP members a sum of 100 cc per week and during battles of importance additional weapons to help force out the invaders. These donations will be made to every party member and I'm encouraging members who do not need or want the donations to forward them to either Rylde to help the nation, or Muglack to help the party.

That's up to the COs of US-AIM units, US-AIM was meant to be bigger than one man. I no longer even command a MU. And from what I saw on the eUS forums earlier I'm going to be declared a persona non grata by the eUS Congress, so it's a good thing I'm no longer involved with US-AIM.
I'm eCanadian now and I'm happy with that.
As the MU Commander, I stopped working with the eUS Gov't since they never even gave me access to the eusa forums other than the public access threads. Even back when US-AIM was strong, they only gave me access to their IRCs which were just full of idle politicians.
Also, you can't work with people who refuse to work with you... that's basically how I felt when I requested access to the forum threads that kept being mentioned in which I had zero access to.

I've got people asking me what you are doing. As I've said before I don't know about you. Show me your good side, that I can trust you and I may be persuaded. Until then I can't help but remember the US days. You didn't like me much then, and with just cause.

One man's bribe is another man's incentive. If it helps keep players more active and engaged in battles to free Canadian territories, what's the risk?
There are other ways to help people. Passing out cc isn't of itself a bad thing, but as you know it is generally banned in RL for most political situations. Perhaps offering to set up a food program or such would be a better idea and then I'm not even fond of 'party only' incentives. The exception being a published recruitment drive where the obvious goal is to entice someone to join a party/MU buy giving away something.
I get that. but, first, corruption is engineered into eRep. The entire game mechanics were built on the absence of law and regulation. There are no rules against doing what mcvicker is proposing - the bigger question is around sustainability but that's his quandary to ponder. Next, this isn't RL.. If it were, DMV would be paying lobbyists, passing bills for interest free government loans with no penalties for default, land deals, eased regulations, as well as carbon and tax credits.
