Vote. No to cultural monuments stealing. If they want them in their museums, they must ask politely and then make replicas.
this is the problem of Egypt, Turkey and Greece,
it is so amazing that French and English people are proud of their stealing...
Hmmm.. lots of our archeological items are in foreign countries - England, France, Austria, Moldova, Ukraine and I wonder if it is so bad..
On one hand it is bad because instead of one man to go here and see the culture in our museums he can do it somewhere else.
On the other hand the same man could have gone to that museum not knowing about our culture and seeing the objects he could say to himself "Wow, next stop Bulgaria (or Greece for that matter)"
It sux if they are not willing to give it back, tho.
I remember 2 years ago the Italian government captured stolen items from Bulgarian cultural heritage and they sent it back to us. And they could steal it thereselves cuz governments do it from time to time. It was a nice gesture...

this article wont get knowhere. they will not let go of anything. its one of the main atractions in the musium along with things from other countries. its a sad issue that only very important people might presuade them to give all the things back to the counties they took them from. ALL THE COUNTIES have stolen items in their museums and wont return them and give back. voted
Εγώ δεν έχω πρόβλημα να είναι ένα μικρό μέρος από την αρχαία μας κληρονομία σε μουσεία ανά το κόσμο (ώστε να μπορούν όλοι οι άνθρωποι στο πλανήτη που δεν έχουν την οικονομική άνεση να έρθουν Ελλάδα για διακοπές..να θαυμάζουν τον αρχαίο μας πολιτισμό) ΑΡΚΕΙ!!!! τα μουσεία που φιλοξενούν τα αρχαία μας να δίνουν ένα ποσοστό από τα κέρδη τον εισιτήριων…. ΚΑΤΙ ΠΟΥ ΤΑ ΤΕΛΕΥΤΑΙΑ 60 ΧΡΟΝΙΑ… δεν το έχει σκεφτεί κανένας ΒΛΑΚΑΣ πολιτικός!!! ούτε χρέος θα είχαμε!!!

UK love stealing
I visited the British Museum 1 month ago. These barbarians guys there how want to believe that they are protecting the statues, designed the museum in a way that the statues are not protected. There are no protecting glass, so every stupid idiot can go and touch the statues (and they do so). Also they tolerate other stupid idiots (or the same with before) to photograph the statues using flash. And this is something that takes place in every area (not only in the greek area).
I could also mention that these ridiculous fags used to organize parties and events in the museum and especially in the statues' area.
I do not believe that the statues should return home.
I believe that there are a pretty good advertisement and also I believe that it is a right of anybody to be able to admire the statues.
BUT. These barbarians in the UK should do 2 things in order to keep the statues:
1. Respect the legacy that they possess in the british museum, treat the statue with the appropriate manner and protect them.
2. Recognize that these statues belong to Greece and to the Greek Ministry of Culture. Greeks should be able to take the statues back whenever they want, however, they decide to leave them in the british museum for now, if this shitty museum is ok with its obligations as they mentioned in point 1.
