In a shocking turn of events, Hungary has ended it’s long standing relationship with Serbia. The Hungarian President reportedly said: “Serbia has been a long standing ally, but we feel it is time to cut our ties to them. I feel the Hungarian people have an earnest desire, some would say even hungry desire, for change. I am even now talking with Romania about the possibility of an alliance; and ending the oldest war in eRepublik. Hungary will be taking this chance to re-invent herself as a strong anti-Cheating nation. We are correcting our foreign policy, and in talks with Poland.” Of course, all this was in Hungarian and we translated.

There is no word yet on any wars being planned by the Hungarian High command. This newspaper reports that the Hungarian higher ups are taking time to make peace with everyone, so they might re-evaluate their foreign policy.

The average Hungarian on the street, is appalled, according to the Hungary First Party. conducted a gall-up like street poll and found that 47% of people are demanding the current Presidents impeachment, with 12% saying they will leave the country if he does not resign. There was a small fraction, about 7%, who approved of the actions but demand it go farther. They want absolute war with Serbia. Likewise, street polls in Serbia show 87% of the country is outraged, with 11% recommending war to remind them of the strength of the Serbian military.
