Human resources in V1
Dear citizens,
The job market will be completely changed in V1. General Managers will now be able to post their offers on the market by selecting the salary that they are willing to pay to the new employees and the minimum skill level required for that specific position.
Citizens that are looking for a job, will only have to apply for the position and if they fulfill the skill requirements they automatically become an employee.
These modifications will help the new citizens to start their economical career faster and it will be much easier for them to find their first job in Erepublik. Also, it should make company owners life a lot easier.
V1 resources
We received interesting feedback from you concerning the country resources presented in the last Insider article. We have already made small modifications based on that feedback. Don’t forget that this is a work in progress that we will fine tune.
Aslo, keep in mind that we will add new types of raw materials after V1 launch and that the productivity of the manufacturing and constructions industries will have an equal value (1) in every region of Erepublik. So these industries will depend only on the human factor.
Citizens skill transfer to V1
Considering your suggestions about the skills transfer to V1, the manufacturing and construction skills of the citizens from the Beta version will take into consideration the sum of the working days in the industries from these two domains. This way, each day that citizens worked in Erepublik will be added to their skill level and nothing will be lost. For example if you have a 3.2 skill in Weapons and 2.9 in food, as you have worked 35 days, your manufacturing skill will be 3.95.
We appreciate your help and feedback as always

Nice
YAY! Nice
Nice (2)
Citizens skill transfer to V1
AWEOSME!!!!!
number 5 yes!
Great!
The skill thing was an issue for a lot of people
it sounds good!
I like the changes in Human resources Will there also be any changes (e.g automated script) in changing employees salary and/or firing them?
cool
is there any change in the max skill level (now = max 7)??
great !
and for raw material industries will be different with the manufacturer and construction industries?
nice, but the bann wasnt fun
Great!
Nice cant wait to start playing.
\"the productivity of the manufacturing and constructions industries will have an equal value (1) in every region of Erepublik\"
This makes absolutely no sense at all. This becomes more or less like admins playing the game instead of players. With different manufacturing and construction bonuses there would be countries that supply resources and countries that buy them to produce goods, now the same regions will do both. Nice.
Ok!
lovely

good news! thanks admin
I don\'t really understand. So for manufacturing and construction, we do need resources, dont we?
So how could you say that it will only depend on human skills? Or we don\'t need raw materials to produce?
I hope you change the numbers for raw resources productivity 0,5 1 1,5 cos it will be more balanced, if it\'s needed for production.
are strength and job skill maximum 7?
The same value? Damn, and I though Scadens had a great explanation for the unbelievably unfair and unbalanced distribution of resources...
\"We have already made small modifications based on that feedback. \"
Small isn\'t the word I wanted to hear, as that just means there are some changes to how the resources have been distributed. It doesn\'t change the fundemental balance problem. Of course Sweden has loads of wood IRL and the Netherlands hasn\'t, but that\'s because our economy isn\'t based on those resources (we do have wood, oil, gas etcetera though). I thought Scadens might\'ve been right that regional manufacturing/construction bonuses would fix this unbalance, but apparently it doesn\'t.
Please just explain why you\'ve decided to distribute the resources this way and why you think it\'s fair/balanced. Why do you want it this way?
By the way, nice human resources system. This will really help (and create a lot of competition as GM\'s will be overbidding each other obviously ). Does this system also imply an automatic salary system?
(btw: we want Nuclear Energy )
AMAZING!
Indeed Jazar, hate to see the cynics were right all along about my theory
A pessimist is never disappointed.
Not good idea about automatic job proposals: it will make absurd competence forever.
NEW ISP is even worse than old one...
feedback from the recourses what about the feedback from the mayor idea...
I also think that screwing ePortugal was \"interesting\".
>We received interesting feedback from you concerning the country resources presented in the last Insider article. We have already made small modifications based on that feedback.
Looking forward to the modification ... hopefully it will be fair enough with RL resources
Does citizens have to place their CV\'s ? If not, the HR is not as in RL.
V1 resources:
Please present the modifications. And why.
Citizens skill transfer to V1:
Good. Exactly what I proposed.
Sounds Great, thanks for the work
Sounds great.
Horrible. Thanks admins for give advantage to some people.
When the new raw material arrive, the damage will be done and a few group of favored contries.
Thanks admins for destroy a nice game.
good to hear about the raw material modifications:)
Is there any chance that a wellness requirement be included in addition to a skill requirement.
Will the GM offer work as \"I want 6 worker over 3.00 skill for 6 money unit\", or there won\'t be a number how many do you want to sign?
This must be done in order to avoid bankrupt.
Or the other version is that for every single worker you have to put out an offer?
This could also work, but it will prevent the free flow of labour, as we wouldn\'t know how many people are searching for job.
I hope you have a sollution for this as well.
ht\'s interesting
RAW MATERIALS. BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD!
http://www.erepublik.com/article-680929.html
It\"s graet adea.when it will be start?
what Jazar said!
Consider my comment as well: Ban Dio in V1.
\"Aslo, keep in mind that we will add new types of raw materials after V1 launch \"
What do you mean by that? Are there even more raw materials than the ones you have announced?
\"We appreciate your help and feedback as always\"...
SAVE THE MAYORS, THE LOCAL ELECTIONS.
\"Aslo, keep in mind that we will add new types of raw materials after V1 launch \"
As I see it there are two options. First is to have new raw materials for new products or the second option to have new raw materials for existing products.
I prefer the first one.
been translated to Persian!
nice,
I have a question about country Resources, Is there any limitation for companies of these raw materials ??? (I mean only limited number of companies can start working in raw materials field)
great
yes this is all great but i have never seen the game so buggy as it is now; cant work, says i didnt work yesterday, cant see all of the latest news, main page has no visuals and is displayed vertical , and cant train.
What is this?!?!?
nice

If I place my iron-comapny in a region with 2 iron will the region productivity automatically be 2 or does the employees have to live in a 2 iron region to get the extra productivity?
nice
JAPAN YEAH!
Oh and nice job
SAVE THE MAYORS, THE LOCAL ELECTIONS.[2]
Not good. Salaries for 1.00 Skill will skyrocket.
good work.. i am poleased to hear, but what about the 10 slots ? can it be influenced by hoouse? if you have Q1 house to have 15 slots, house q2 you have 20 slots, q3- 25 slots, q4 30 slots, and q5-35 slots - even if we have to pay gold monthly? This will be a good point for you and for us.
Onething that I would like to add to the Gms hiring process is that the worker signs up for a contract for example 7 days. This would be a safety net for Gm so they one day have 10 workers next day Zero because the competitor increases the salery by two dots. So you can make sure that you have workers the next day and can regulate your salarys to match the competitor before they leave.
Oh cool. Two V1 notices within 3 days.
GREAT JOB ADMIN.
I wanna see a new screen shot!
Looks great! Good work, guys.
Thanks admin for read our suggestions.
I still thinking that the list of resources must be changed a lot.
With this list, the gift industry of a lot of countries broke in a few days...
The diamonds resource are in few countries...
\"General Managers will now be able to post their offers on the market by selecting the salary that they are willing to pay to the new employees and the minimum skill level required for that specific position.\"
Finally!
Good job on following the suggestion of combining different types of skills. My weapons skill will jump from around 5.65 to 6.30 !
@Jazar: Nuclear Energy = Q5 weapons. Don\'t worry. They\'ll be available within the first week or so of V1 hopefully ;]
Also, Please answer Sandtux\'s question.
SAVE THE MAYORS, THE LOCAL ELECTIONS [3]
Yes, we want mayors!
@Sandtux: Based on wording of the previous Article, I\'m pretty sure it\'s the Company that must be in the Region. Just move there to make it, then move back or whatever.
wait the minute how you can calculate that number??
same question with @zeith...
And how about character with only single skills?? (I concern to work in weapon only)
Genius. Will there ever be a V2 after this?
V2 will available on PSP
Was I truly the only one who understood that the skills in each area would be merged into one?
@Leon Pong: same here. GREAT!
\"Aslo, keep in mind that we will add new types of raw materials after V1 launch\"
What does it means?
I wonder about the same thing as Sandtux do, would be nice with an answer from the Admin to be sure.
I have to disagree about the productivity bonus too. You should really look at the gross domestic product when establishing this. Finland, for example, is in the top 10 countries in the world when looking at the gross domestic product per capita, yet in eRepublik we have no resources and the same production bonus as all the other countries. Just how are the smaller countries suppose to compete in this environment? You are effectively ruining this game.
admin you mean we are going to have only 2 kinds of skill?
@miladmzz
I think there will be an other one for raw materials. (mining or something like that)
@ Sandtux:
If I place my iron-company in a region with 2 iron will the region productivity automatically be 2 or does the employees have to live in a 2 iron region to get the extra productivity?
- If your iron company HQ is in a region with a high (2) productivity level, your employees will receive this productivity boost when they work, no matter where they live in.
@ Watermellon:
Genius. Will there ever be a V2 after this?
- We expect to have more updates of V1 (V1.1, V1.2 and so on) and then we will be considering developing Erepublik V2.
@ miladmzz:
admin you mean we are going to have only 2 kinds of skill?
- Each citizen will have three types of skills, one for each economical domain: Manufacturing (Tickets, Food, Weapons, Gifts), Construction (Hospital, Houses, Secret Building), Raw materials (Wood, Oil, Grain, Diamonds, Iron). Also you will still have the strength which values will be kept in V1 (no changes here after the Beta db migration).
@ xManiacx
are strength and job skill maximum 7?
- No, we\'ve changed the formula for how the skills will increase and after the citizens reach skill level 4, each time they work, their skill will increase with 0.02.
very cool changes... ALSO! this new URL allows me to get onto erep where it was blocked before... totally awesome!
BUT! it\'s still a little slow and clocks me out at random times... not cool
We will see how cool this new system is once it comes crashing down, when there\'s no way to compete with the supernations other than by placing them in a trade embargo. How about allowing it to be done without declaration of war? Or at least allow countries to set country specific taxation for foreign products. And please take into consideration that logistic distances increase the price of the product and, if a country is at war, it should have some difficulties importing and exporting goods (resulting in higher prices).
If you are not going to reconsider giving smaller countries better production bonus, then at least give us tools to fight the supernations from flooding our market with cheaper products. Otherwise this game just becomes a fight between supernations, and smaller countries have no influence in the game at all.
You should also consider including some form of \"loyalty bonus\", a multiplier that encourages keeping your job.
Otherwise I\'m afraid there will be mass migrations towards slightly better paying jobs.
This bonus exists in RL as well.
I think you should put some \'keep cost\' for Strenght over 6 so that time doesn\'t become to important. Otherwise you will scare new ones from start because the will realize that they will never be able to catch those strenght monster with strenght 8+
thanks:)
Good job Radu on convincing the big guys of the utility of this kind of a skill transfer. I\'ll buy you a beer next summer!
thank you
Thanks for the skill transfer,
>>For example if you have a 3.2 skill in Weapons and 2.9 in food, as you have worked 35 days, your manufacturing skill will be 3.95.
I Love you admin (in a friend type of way). Your the best
Citizens skill transfer to V1: Very well done!
great job, and happy to read that you lisen the beta players
a salary change script would be super
I am bored of this kind of news. I want to play the new version quickly or I will leave the game.
Thank you Cristesco!
