HOW TO FIX THE ECONOMY!

Day 333, 07:18 Published in Sweden Sweden by Kamu

It is glaringly obvious. The Erepublik team have failed us outstandingly. They have refused to stop and think about what they are doing and about to do. Their solution is to by hand, give out pissy donations to a few companies. Here is how you stop the game from self imploding:

1. STOP GIVING RAW MATERIALS TO EVERYONE: This doesn't help and you are wasting your time you could be wasting on a 'community gathering'.
2. REMOVE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR RAW MATERIALS TEMPORARILY: Give the manufacturing industry a break. They are unable to do make anything due to the shortage of materials.
3. INCREASE THE PRODUCTIVITY OF THE RAW MATERIALS SECTORS TEMPORARILY: Let them build up stocks. Let the markets fill with raw materials.
4. IN 1 OR 2 WEEKS REINTRODUCE THE RAW MATERIAL REQUIREMENT BUT AT A FRACTION OF WHAT IT IS NOW: Having given the raw materials industry a chance to produce, there should be some items for sale on the market. The manufacturing industry can actually buy them now, but the industry wont be as strong as we'd like it, so for example a house requires 200 raw materials, make it only require 20.
5. WEEKLY INCREASE THE AMOUNT OF RAW MATERIALS REQUIRED UNTIL IT REACHES NORMAL: As more and more people get into the raw materials industries, more and more materials will reach the market and this shortage of supply will be less of a problem. So houses require 40 wood now. Keep increasing weekly or whatever, until you reach the normal amount.
6. GRADUALLY DECREASE THE PRODUCTIVITY OF THE RAW MATERIALS INDUSTRY: Since we propped up the productivity of the raw materials industry in number 3, we can slowly decrease the productivity until it reaches the normal level. The key is to phase in your damn additions to this game. Abrupt economic changes throws everything into disarray, as we can CLEARLY see here.
Of course this will just be ignored, though.
If this changes or some similar modifications are not implemented, there will be a massive economic downfall. Although, the economy in time will return to normal, however a lot of people will get frustrated and leave, I bet.
Lepo Nex in the comment raises an excellent point. Companies that cannot provide work due to no money to pay employees, or lack of resources SHOULD NOT be displayed on the Human Resources list. Economic crisis or no crisis, I would like to see this modification made.
