Hovatovább? Whereto now? [Hu/En]

Hova is tovább? Recseg-ropog a szövetség, egymást vádolják a tagok, bár a többség főleg minket. Szvsz.

Ravaszul.

köszöntem a figyelmet

Where to now? The alliance is crumbling already and the members accuse each other - or rather most of them accuse us. Because we have bonuses. Because we haven't made an MPP with Romania. Because the old friendships are not enough any more to... to counter what? That point has never been made clear to me. What is clear that our path leads outwards the alliance now. Will we fall between a rock and a hard place? Probably. We can now make MPPs with some old and some new friends - but in between the hammer and the anvil of the two alliances we cannot hope to hold onto our bonuses and even the original regions will be hard to keep. After all it is no secret that the romanian-bulgarian duo schemed now to eventually gain the ukrainian bonuses. Probably.

In the meanwhile, we can learn to be small again. Maybe it is not such a bad thing. To fight a defensive war makes society a bit less fragmented and more healthy, makes us a bit more focused and less complacent. So inwardly it would do us some good I think.

Internationally? We can be cut down to size, sure. But not kept there forever, no. Military potential doesn't depend on the number of the regions and we know the secrets of trade and economy as well. As long as we are here, in this place in Europe, we remain a power to consider even without the backing of an alliance. Good foreign policy, good, shrewd maneuvering to be everyone's friend and everyone's potential enemy we can live and survive until this unhealthy alliance crumbles and we can make a new one to our liking.

We just have to manage this in a new way. Effectively. Ruthlessly. Shrewdly.
