smif, kind of an over discussed topic. USA left our alliance (again) and formed a new one (again) and made Brazil into BROzil and attacked Spain. We stood up for Spain (again).
We would have left old time allies no matter what, our wish was to remain allied with our old time allies but since some of them where no longer in the same team we would be fubar no matter what. We decided to stay with Spain and Poland.

Lazy Greg, I didn't fight against Romania. What is freaking propaganda with saying that we chose to stay with Spain and Poland after USA switched side? If we had chose to stay with Romania and Finland then some guy with Polish or Spanish avatar would have called us a traitor, or shouted propaganda. We where not exactly the country who ruled things anymore.
Misho, USA has barely anything to do with Sweden quitting from EDEN.. there's over 1 year in between of these two. And you can't really say that they were the ones changing SIDE.. They weren't the one changing almost every MPP, just a few (at the beginning ofc).
Anyway, it was inevitable. You cared mostly about Spain and Loland, not the other members of EDEN. Their flipping is another story.
it's all about vingaer and smrtan and their interests to see romania hurt because ther childish hate towards romanians. So because shoot , Durutti , some spaniards and polish people were blindly doing as vingaer say they just followed her orders

ErvinB: I was there and I can say that 98% of the people didn't make the trip because of the game but because of the people playing it. The only ones making it because of the game were probably a few admins with their eR passports and mousepads.
I actually used the eR passport when leaving the Budapest airport. How cool is that?

Erwin and Petsku, if the game would have been better both Sweden and Finland would have had more people playing it. Personally I haven't fulfilled the 'invite another sucker' mission yet.

what i remember beeing told when we left EDEN for ONE was that well sweden tried countless times to get a voice heard in EDEN HQ but DENIED (about diffrent things) and we then when spain and poland left we were forced to choose wich ones WE cherished as FRIENDS, and the rest is history?
Also remember not figthing against any EDEN members the first mounth but thats just me:)
Why you missed it Misho, is probably cause you aren't a member of the TSM Mu. Otherwise you'd get spammed by this crap. And here is the reason to why external MU's is the major cluster fuck of all time.

Caelo, yes, the TSM MU get orders but lots of players aren't members of TSM MU and also don't visit the forums.
bozli, under the snow there is ice. When snow melt it turns to water and can move sand even easier.

We left ONE because Petsku and avec insisted on stealing my cookies.
Or, perhaps, simply because it was the only thing our citizens felt was safe. We would either end up as enemies of Poland (neighbors) or enemies of Romania (not neighbors). Croatia and Spain would end up as collateral damage. That Romania now have decided to run away from their usual opponents and fight 4-1 against a diminished Sweden with 10% of their own player base, well, that's not revenge is it? It's bravery! Let us write hymns for these nomadic warriors of far-away lands!
Mind you that I voted for neutrality a year ago. But I've always been a bit messed up. It shall be a down right honor to fight against you ignorant band-wagoners when you reach the beaches of Gotland. I am yet to fight against the Finns though. Honor can be kept between nations even when you fight for a lost cause (as both Finland and Sweden have been doing for the past 2 years).
Or we could all choose to look at it from the bright side: now we won't have to fight in Romania vs Hungary anymore. That must feel refreshing?

Finland isn't that keen to see Sweden wiped, because we remember the old days of this game. But this situation is not good. Your former president was a big mistake and Norway and Denmark were our allies. But Everything is not yet lost. There is room for talk. Romania don't have long lasting interests in Swedish areas and neither has Russia. Finland can be bribed. Just leave ONE and make friends with your true friends again and everything will be fine. We could use some help to kick ONE butt.
What is your best interest? What is the best interest of those near you? Come with us.

@Vintin Hintti, heh of course they don't have long lasting interests in our regions, They know it would be hell defending them and it would be even worse for Finland trying to hold them, You might be doing okay now but both you and me know it's not because of Finlands military might. I don't see us leaving ONE anytime soon but I would still like to see good relations between the Nordic countries even if we are on different sides.
Enjoy today whatever you can because tomorrow it will be worse.
@ Kain Propan, lets hope your government is more reasonable than you are. You are not going to get more help from ONE. If you get some, it will not last for long, because they don't really care. They just want you to help win wars for them. If the price for that is that they have to give some help. they will do it unwillingly and they give too little and too late.
And while they fight their important RWs in Western Netherlands, you can shout all you want. It's a sad reality that you've chosen. But like I said. It doesn't have to be so. Just make your move.

The hypocricy lies in thinking that there's actually any difference between EDEN and ONE in that aspect. To be honest, I'd almost rather be in ABC simply because no county is higher or mightier than the others. The problem with ABC is that they effectively blocked themselves out of expansion by signing peace with each other.
Of course we're fighting in battles that we don't care about. All small countries do. Finland is no exception. You've had a baby boom recently, but most of those players will die within a matter of 3 months. After that, you'll be fighting against Estonia at best, but more probably you'll be fighting through MPP to save Romania or Croatia.
Small countries have no balls in this game. They're so afraid of getting trolled and wiped by the big bullies that they allow themselves to be forced into unorthodox alliances.
Sweden never attacked Finland. You attacked us. You had good reason for it, as you wanted to liberate Norway. Now that Norway is liberated, you are still here though. The longer it stays that way, the harder it will be for me and other supporters of friendship between Scandinavian nations to change the course of things.
But if you'd rather continue to throw mud at us now that we're facing 3 substaintially larger enemies, that's your choice. Let me just say that it doesn't make you look any better from where I'm standing.

If your fellow baby finns are as keen on having Sweden as their new enemy, well, then it might turn out that way. If you want to throw away 4 hours of peace because of a few months of bad goverment relations, so be it. However, I will continue to try my best and talk to be more sensible of your countrymen while looking for other options.
Finland need to hold Norway for as long as it takes - and that is to help us get our nation un-PTOed. Since Finland is EDEN, it is better if they hold our regions than Sweden. For as long as Norway is PTOed, the loyal Norwegian citizens are without any political power (in regards of game mechanisms).

Im not to much into the "brotherhood" thing,it´s a game, but if Iwere, Sweden would be the first pick for me as our "brothers", followed by estonia and Norway.
But in this game, when I look things objective from your angle, what are those much talked "options"?
Its been said Russia n Romania war be short ? Why I dont follow the logic ?
Finland could use a bonus, and youre the only enemy around ?

Doubt I represent the majority of Finns, but for me if there is only those "trrough MPPs" as you said, and nothing else...For me that is more boring than actually been into some(neverending)thing as a country.
You cant say these last few days have been "boring" ? In long term it´ll only benefit you guys. Afterall its been allmost half the millenium since guys you been into something :p <grin>.
