Hard-hitting Investigative Journalism

It would seem that I'm guilty of premature celebration. As outlined here by our illustrious Potus DMJ, it was believed that yet another incarnation of Ajay Bruno was handed a banhammer as a reward for his many crimes. I find it fascinating that a person who claims to be standing up against the "tyranny" of the meta game has been found to be in violation of in-game rules enough to earn at least a half dozen perma-bans. Those who are familiar with Ajay expected him to roll a new account. However inexplicably

It would seem that perma-bans aren't what they used to be. Even in the real world justice is sometimes fleeting. It's no different here. Everyone knows that the almighty credit card will buy benefit of the doubt. No one likes it, but it's at this point been grudgingly accepted. However a look at Ajay's current account will show an account over two years old with 26 hard worker medals (clearly showing it's been an active account), but with barely 6k strength. Let's contrast that with my own account, my account is 5 years old, however I only have 20 hard worker medals. This highlights that I took a lot of time off from erepublik. Yet in spite of 6 less months of activity I have 38.5k strength. How is that I have acquired 32.5k more strength in a half year less of activity? Because I invested in combat packs until I maxed my training grounds. Clearly my account (no one tell my wife) has been augmented with Mastercard, and the Boywonder's has not. So how is it that a non gold buyer has escaped justice for so long, and then inexplicably had it reversed after finally reaping what he's sown? Confused by this I went to Plato to ask him. This is the answer that I received.
