Happy Holidays everyone!

My personal experience with Christmas in the Philippines consisted of numerous carolers visiting our apartment in Dipolog CIty - mind, this started weeks before the 24th! The other sounds that come to mind when I think of that time were the cheap fire crackers and noise-makers used throughout Christmas night and New Years.



It was also my first chance to experience lechon!

Anyways, the original intent of this article is to announce my hope to be reelected as a member of Congress. Excepting a drop-off due to the holidays, I have been very active - always voting on legislation and acting as a voice of thoughtful analysis in congressional discussions. I am again running in Mindanao, home of Dipolog City where I spent my holidays and married my wife.

Beyond stirring up a great deal of controversy with my articles (I think I have some of the highest comment counts in the country!), deep down my goal is and always will be the betterment of the ePhilippines. Though the idea was originally Nikko_33's, I proposed and helped get congressional support for a state-run Gift Company which is already up and running.

I currently manage PESO Jobs, which will soon be an official government organization, and act as the employment center and supply for Q1 Gifts and Weapons. This is all waiting on contracts (thanks SoulSalvage ), but once that is ironed out, I hope to be the point-man for wellness support.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO VOTERS

VOTE ACCORDING TO YOUR PARTY PRESIDENT. We have had a great deal of foreigners petition for citizenship this month for the sole purpose of getting free gold during congressional elections (and possibly more nefarious intentions). Some have managed to slip through, in part due to inattentive congress members.

VOTE FOR THE APPROVED CANDIDATE WITH THE LEAST VOTES. The Party President doesn't need 9 votes. Make sure all key members of congress endorsed by the Party President are in the running for elections!

MESSAGE TO CONGRESSIONAL CANDIDATES

You NEED to be a member of the forums! All serious political discussions occur there. If you are a candidate and are not registered, REGISTER NOW, not after you are elected. Even if you don't get in, you'll be on your way to being an active member of the ePhilippines, and thus that much more likely to be elected in the future!

Subscribe to and read the Speaker of the House's Newspaper. All important updates and congressional information are published there, including sign-in information for access to the Congressional section of the Forums, which includes &quot;Sensitive Discussions&quot; and &quot;Citizen Approval&quot; - critical areas for debate and discussion.

And finally, if you win, BUY A NEWSPAPER. This is a key way to get your name known so that you can get reelected. It only costs 2 of the 5 gold you win, and is an great investment! Seriously, the best way for voters and other congress members to get to know you and what you stand for is an article or two a week.
