Hale To The Chief
As we all know the Presidential elections are coming soon. In a continued effort to bring information to newbies and all citizens I wanted to see a summary in one place of the candidates stances.. I sent out a questionnaire to all candidates regarding some issues that concern many. I might not have hit them all but did the best I can I will identify the candidates…. The parties that support them and the parties that have no candidate listed as of today 12/2/2012 erepublik day 1839

What is your biggest motivation to run for CP?
-I want make Ireland just like it used to be, prosperous country with strong centralised military. My motivation is our history and nostalgy for it. I know we can do better no matter we're small and there is only few of us, we have and we must do better, we can have more fun and I'll bring it here. Our voice used to be important, let's make them hear us again.
What are your feelings about the alliance discussion ( EDEN VS NO-EDEN)?
-Both options brings us something good and something bad. I think that's well explained in Malebkh's article. Most important for us is to finish this story finally and to turn to our allies and restore our "great allies" title.
What would you contribute to help develop new irish citizens?
-I'll appoint Minister of Education, his duty will be to write tutorials and articles how to make money, how to fight or how to train. I will also appoint Minister of New Citizens, it's gonna be Irasian who is already doing great work in Bootcamp, so this way he'll have more options and more space for his work.
How important is newbie development to your future administration?
-Highly important, we must have new players who will be able to bring freshness and new ideas to our country.
What is your stance on trying to get an NE for training purposes?
-I'll bring us NE, but it's gonna be real war, not training war purpose, I had enough on unimportant battles and wars. Time to rocknroll
Give a brief Summary of your goals as CP if elected.
-Bring fun, war. Improve financial situation, make people informed about everything, centralise military, make everyone do their job, unite Irishmens, bring back old glory of Eireann

Personally,I'm pro-Eden. Always was during the 3+ years I play erepublik and always will be. But both options have some pros and cons,so I think whatever choice eIreland makes it should turn ok for us. The important thing is that we continue helping our any time we're able to

Ministry of Community will handle the Education department,writing tutorials and helping new players in any way possible. Ian E CoIeman will be the one in charge of this department,and he's already proven himself very capable of helping new citizens

Getting a TW NE would be useful,but it all depends now on the results of the alliance refferendum. Depending on what we choose,we'll have different options for wars and attacking

What is your biggest motivation to run for CP?
I have always been known as a hard worker for Ireland and feel with us on the brink of possibly a huge choice on whether to leave or stay in EDEN, as our most vocal supporter of EDEN I believe we need a strong person who is able to make tough choices. I have shown in my last two CP terms that I make them choices when its needed.
What are your feelings about the alliance discussion ( EDEN VS NO-EDEN)?
I have always been pro EDEN, I was a big hand in helping Ireland join EDEN. Its not to say I think we should stay no matter what, times can change and we need to move with them but at this point EDEN is our best choice.
What would you contribute to help develop new irish citizens?
I have always been looking for ways to help new players, just over two years ago I bought the domain eIreland.me thinking it would be great to have forums, websites and other stuff on that for eIreland. The forum failed due to a number of reasons but the website I made and have just got it running again and it has all guides and information on it and it will be great for all players - www.eireland.me/infocentre
How important is newbie development to your future administration?
When ever I run for President and I choose my cabinet I always have an experienced person in each role and an inexperienced person who is eager to learn under them so the experienced players can teach and pass skills to the new players can learn key skills in their desired roles.

It can be seen I always look to bring lower level players into government because they are key to our future.
What is your stance on trying to get an NE for training purposes?
I don't like TW's, I would rather us land swap to actually invade someone. That would be miles better, people have an issue with allying with the UK. Tbh this would allow us to landswap and go either into Europe or Scandinavia.
Give a brief Summary of your goals as CP if elected.
My goals would be to solidify our place in the world, get us an actual war because we haven't had a good one since we were in Scandinavia and its badly needed.
