Es ist gut dass du nicht vergessen hast dass alles hier nur einen Spiel ist, und es ist gut zu wissen dass da gibt's noch eine Menge Leute die fair spielen kann (ich meine den DEM Dingsda).

Ich muss sagen dass ich ein bisschen verwirrt bin da du um Justin sprichst, weil ich bin ganz sicher dass eDeutschland hat gute Maenner (Frauen auch? Falls so, erepublik meeting im Niedersachsen? 😛) ausser von ihn (ich kenne ihn kaum, aber von wie du ihn beschreiben hast, ich muss etwa umsichtig um ihn sein - no offense!). Ich bin ganz sicher dass DKN ein guter leader mit viele Freunde sein kann, und der ist auch nicht der einzige da. Infolgedessen, ich denke dass mit ein bisschen Hilfe (ich konnte sowas frohlich leihen) und guter Marketing die Entwicklung eDeutschlands kurzlich zum hoechstzulaessige Geschwindigkeit kommen wurde.

Zur Zeit, es ist naemlich wichtig dass alle Deutscher miteinander kommen und fuer diese Entwicklung werken. Freunde kommen natuerlich drauf 🙂

Verstehen

Well, I think we did a good job in eGermany during the last month after we were released from Sweden (again thanks for this point). We always had a hard stand on our DEM, but I am very interested how you wanna harm our economy with a DEM war - don't get me wrong and I do not want to see it but I can't believe it because I got the information by the admins who owned DEM and how much are in foreign hands...in my eyes no problem.

One of our government members is even an RL Romanian. We are new and although I told Congressmember to care about their comments we saw a lot of stupid comments because of an operation that leaded to reunification.

We are small in amount of citizen but this does not takes us the right of ALL German region. We tried a lot and not only the government works behind me. All Congressmen agreed to the conducted measures and not as in other countries there were no impeachment proposals in this term.

Of course we are limited in gold, military power and other things. But this is the reason why we are having good relations to countries like eUSA, eUK, eCzech, eItaly and eCroatia to just mention some of our closed friends. You are guessing why not Romania at the moment? Because as a small country like Germany seems not that important for Romania - no Romanian was eager to talk to our government or to ask us for our future goals. No communication means misunderstanding and maybe different views that can lead to problems.

I love how some Romanians view free nations of the world as simple playgrounds for their tactics 😐
But in a way, i guess i respect you...

GLaDOS, I don't quite see you. dsalageanu clearly states that he avoided harming the eGerman economy, and I know of only one Romanian involved in eGermany, and that one (!) is on the good side. Even if it were like that, and "some" Romanians would be so much into playing battleships all over the planet, the Waltzian model of international context would have called for such behavior.

I know that he won't do it, but idea that someone would think of doing something like that simply to test tactics disturbs me.

Seriously, now, the issue that dsalageanu thought of this is of minor importance, vastly overwhelmed by the fact that it was possible for him to do so, which is a more important problem, and also one that may be addressed by a capable government plan.

Touche Titu. and you have a point. a large number of countries have that problem.
My nation had 150K JPY hacked from our national bank by a Victor petrecu style group, but they were Iranian. we are currently feeling rapid inflation, and are trying hard to work around it.

The thing is that (most of the times, at least) everybody is equal here in terms of options - that's the beauty of this game without artificial intelligence - endless possibilities. Most of the times, where there's a way to break sh*t down, there's a way of making things come together: you just have to be creative enough. Plus, most of the times, getting your kind up from the bottom of the barrel is far more rewarding than keeping your head put and things at floating level.

Also, I believe in e-karma. As much as I hate this thought, I am pretty sure that in a couple of years or so, the distribution of population worldwide will be less favorable for eRomania, and pulling off various bold strategies would come in less handy.

But we're somewhat drifting away from the article's topic, as there are many other factors than creativity that are making the situation a bit uncomfy for eGermans.

The large point of my article is that major goals have to be addressed trough cooperation and understanding. Unilateral actions tend to attract other unilateral actions.

Sweden is a very dear friend of ours as close to us as no other country of the New World, except Norway. It's okay to treat us as "the bad guys", we might deserve it maybe. But Sweden doesn't and that's why I am pissed off. You can play "evil mastermind", but it gets tricky if you forget who your friends are. I appologize if my tone was a little too hash.

@DKN: purely academic: the monetary market is a free exchange market ruled by supply and demand. We have bought slowly DEM from the monetary market, until the amount in circulation has reduced and the exchange rate rose from .012 to above .020. The key issue is to accumulate enough DEM in order to be able to dramatically increase supply and to force the exchange rate way down (for example at .005). I know Germany has roughly 100k DEM (about 50% treasury, the rest in your national bank & some weapons factories), but that won't help you regulate, as long as we would be selling cheaper than you. You would need large reserves of Gold, which you don't have.

eRomania is not happy of your actions. eSweden is a very close friend of ours (used to be one of yours to). dsalageanu has the means of harming the eGerman economy and if he wants to do this he will do it, even if you think no one cares Lhasa. eRomania doesn't wish to threaten eGermany out of the blue, but if necessary we will aid our Swedish friends if they ask and we consider it appropriate.

Of course we must not rush into things at this moment. eGermany is a small (populated) country with many vulnerable places, but that doesn't mean we aren't interested in having good relations with.

DKN, I was here all the time. I am reading the forum and try to keep myself informed. I've offered my help during the first eSwedish embargo you have proposed in congress. I did told you and Justin Tyme that any time you needed help with the eSwedish officials eRomania can aid you. I haven't hard a word from either of you.

I've sensed from the attitude of the people that eRomania is not a very loved country in eGermany. Every citizen is allowed to have an opinion of course, but when official persons states that, it does nothing but to make me sad.

As you said, you have a RL Romanian in your congress and is devoted to eGermany. We also have some business men in your country to. You see, we never intended to harm you, but still we were disliked by some of your congressmen.

I am always here for discussions if you like, to settle things between our countries, but the situation with eSweden weighs a great deal in our relations.

Germany is completely free now, how is that not better than living as a vassal under Sweden, who would have never been able to assert itself internationally because of Sweden's leash. I don't understand why Romania wants to fight for the sake of fighting, Germany has never harmed Romania nor do we intend to, so why do you wish destruction on us? Is it because we didn't join ATLANTIS and therefor are an enemy by default? You don't even border Germany, why destroy Germany and not smaller PEACE nations like Japan if you want to? Why single US out?

Why single ME out of all people? I'm just vice president and interior minister, I work on behalf of DKN. Plus, what exactly have I done that is so negative? Went against the will of ATLANTIS? Oi, why do people get so tacky at times? Romania is not quite popular because of other things, not because of articles and proofs of honesty. I shall now start speaking only for myself.

I would be really glad (and people who know a little about me IRL would know why) to see eGermany develop normally and be friends of eRomania's, but (well, now I've committed some research to the situation, I can be more at ease while saying things) a certain part of your strategy is a bit off, a bit misdirected, as I fully think that you should focus on internal development and not making quite a fuss about your position on the external discussion board. I am completely aware of the Swedish leash that you are talking about, but one must first learn how to be free before ever acting free, unless one wants to become one's own slave over again.

Simply put, I speak for myself when I say that you should first organize politically inside your government, then economically, then militarily and only afterwards plan changes on the European map. At least this is what Romania did and, frankly, we're pretty well off now.

I will also reiterate my offer to help rebuild a stable society in eGermany, please do consider that.

If you joined PEACE it doesn't mean that we cannot have proper diplomatic and economic relations. No, indeed you have never harmed us, but you have harmed one of our greatest friends and we react now.

Why you Justin Tyme? You are a dubious person with a dark past. I saw that german people forgot about it or did not believe things that were said about you in the media. People brought proof regarding your past and awkward intentions. I do believe that this was your idea, and as Titu Maiorescu said, it was not the time to make a fuss on a international level. Yes, Sith, but do you know the full story? At that time (2 months ago), Shanethe13 was president and was making hostile claims against Germany. He was very belligerent and we needed to have a plan. So I conferred with Misho over what we could do, and he never denied the possibility. But, Shane was impeached (or was close to being impeached, doesn't matter he wasn't reelected) and CZ got a new, diplomatic president. So, relations went back to normal and we're now working on a NAP.

So, what else is there against "me" as an individual? I'm not the grand operator of our recent uprising, in fact I had very little to do with the overall organization. I just put in suggestions and participated in the discussions, but I didn't organize any of the plan.

And if you're representative of Romania's government, then I am relieved to know there are at least a few friendly diplomats in these media articles.

This article is 100% smear by someone who doesn't even know how Germany works. I'm not even the president for god's sake, and the article offers nothing except "you screwed up big time Justin". HOW? Explain how? I'm not even responsible for any of this. And that old PM has no bearing on the current situation.

As I recall there is more to it, isn't it? People accused you for being behind the German Declaration of Independence proposed by Shanethe13. People also published some discussions you had with some one regarding this issue and the conclusion was that you were behind the proposal.

I am not here to judge, nor am I here solve this situation for you. My point is, that you are not a trust worthy person. So, if you made this kind of plan with Shanethe13, why wouldn't you be the one that is behind everything that happened in Sweden?

Although I don't like the article for several reasons, I do like the communication here. There might be temper in it... but it is reasonable communication. To be honest I didn't expected that. I am glad about it. Hopefully you guys keep on going and it lead us all to somewhere. Would be nice.

The arguments made were that Shane had used to be a member of my old party in the Czech Republic like 5 months ago. This is true, I will not deny it. HOWEVER, very early on Shane split with us to join a Czech political party for his own aspirations. Hell, when he did it, we were condemning him as a traitor and sell-out. After that, we parted ways and haven't heard of him until he became president again and started raising hell.

It's all water under the bridge now as far as the Czech Republic and Germany is concerned, so it's silly when it is brought up again. I don't see how it makes me not trustworthy either; at the time, Shane was being openly hostile and we were reacting. Even Misho understood our situation, which he fails to recognize in his smear campaign (why does he not post the responses he gave to the PMs?). All evidence cited are simply reactions to negative actions of others.

All we want is to be left alone to rebuild our nation after we rightfully reclaimed it. That's all we ask.

Yes, Justin, I am an official representative of the eRomanian government. Surprisingly or not, most of our diplomats, if not all of them, have a decent behavior. The same I could say about you and DKN.

Nobody here is questioning the right of Germany to be whole, free, prosperous, hugged, loved, whatever. I haven't even questioned the "morality" or "fairness" of the recent actions, these are pretty empty concepts in a virtual game (and IRL also, die Welt ist hauptsächlich Zwecksorientiert), the only thing that I doubted was the WISENESS of your methods.

Don't get me wrong, Romania is pulling a lot of crap also, but we are not hypocritical about that (or at least we try not to be). We are goal-oriented and we might pay for that, but it is a CALCULATED RISK. All I'm asking is for you to calculate your risks BETTER. Doing a lot of tricky tactics is nice and well, but there are lines you shouldn't cross. Employing PEACE tanks against Sweden was a bad idea. If Sweden would like to retaliate in a similar manner (although they are showing class and are NOT doing that), we would be able to provide them with stronger tanks than PEACE combined. Joining PEACE is another very bad move that could make you a legitimate target for anything that comes into our minds, just because we are playing cat and mouse with PEACE on the entire god damn planet.

I said whatever I had to say and I would like to agree with Guehther Becks that this was a unique opportunity for us to talk and listen to each other. It was a great conversation and I thank all of you for that. I wish you success in building a strong Germany and I would honestly be very glad if we will see the rise of a great power in this game, regardless if we will be on the same side or not.

Glad to have a decent conversation over this. We understand the risk, which is why we're constantly stating that Germany never, and I repeat, never intends to strike aggressively from within our own borders. We don't desire to have hostile neighbors as that's bad for everyone involved. We also understand Romania is the most powerful nation in the game, but as Germany never intends to fight our neighbors, we hope that Romania will recognize Germany as a peaceful nation and we will never have to fight. Hopefully politics of alliances won't get in the way of peaceful relations.

Surely you must admit though that the risk paid off? Germany is completely free after all, and now we will be taking no more risks. We're tired of risks after that operation, no more risks. I just hope you understand that I'm not solely responsible for all this, I'm not really comfortable shouldering the entirety of the blame of all this. I had very little, as I said, to do with the actual coordinating of recent events. The way you phrased your article it seems that you pin this all on me. 🙁

The German people are grateful for the wisdom and services of Justin. His justification is his success. Germany requires NO permission or approval to re-unit its people into one Fatherland. Deutschland uber alles!

1. dsalagenau: It doesnt care if you wanted to threat with the fact that you could ruin DEM. Fact ist that you spoek as if you could AND that is a threat in the Diplomatic world. 2. The reunion of Germany is a fact. now the path in the future is not sure. But I love one comment i heard in some comedy film:

"The past is over, the future is in fog. What we have is the present, that is why it is called the present."

All Leaders take desicions and with every action there is Re-action. If the Leaders would have feer, they would take no-action and that is the worst thing to do.

So to you all. whats done is done and focus on the present. Because what you do to day is the future that lies ahead.
