As a member of the We The People Party, I pledge that if elected as a congressmen of our great nation, I will push for national immigration and citizenship reform and will accept all current applicants on the day I have taken congressional office. I do not seek the presidency of our nation, but to be a productive member of this nation and to allow others the same opportunity.
For our brave men and women fighting for us, I would like to see a compensation program for their service. Free food and weapons for them.
For our more entrepreneurial-minded members, I would like to establish a tax decrease for people who own more than ten business that are three stars or more. Lower it to around five percent.
I call for minimum wage to be set at 20.00 USD/day and to increase by 20.00 for every level of business after that.
And a law for anyone who votes for Hillary Clinton to be shot in the head, because they clearly are idiots. (This is be no means an actual threat towards any real life person, more in the aspect of roleplay for the game.)

That immigration bit will get you in trouble. I'd think WTP would tell you, as far as citizenship applications go you have to go through IES. Otherwise you'll get censured.

I would like to increase minimum wage from 1.00 USD to higher. Rates are negotiable. Any suggestions on how to promote higher quality jobs?
I pay 105.00 up to 10x per day, I could go more but people can only make so many work tickets so a good average of what my workers do is 6x per day.
Why would you increase it, as obviously nobody would take a 1USD job as there are much better jobs offered. Free market?
So uh, you are new here that is totally okay. Let me lay a little know-how on ya.
#1 The government in eUSA as far as eRepublik is concerned is a Dictatorship, this means any proposals you have as a congress person must be done on the forums in the e-Congress. It is basically real life congress so you would have the floor to promote these agenda.
#2 Like the real life migrant crisis in Europe, there can be potentially dangerous people in the pool of migrants. So what do I mean? There is an entire organization that has worked for years called the IES. This group know almost everything about everyone in eRepublik, and often work with government officials elsewhere to paint of portrait of the applicant. Citizenships are decided by the group, just like in real life it is not left to congress.
#3 Wages in eRepublik work differently than in the real world, in fact many people get paid a dollar a day through a commune group run by military organizations. So while a 1 USD min wage sounds like a bad thing, in reality these people are being paid 400-1000 dollars a week, have housing paid for, or tanks and food delivered to them. Changing this wage is no bueno as it defuncts the entire commune system. However wages are not based on skill so the highest competitive wage is set by the markets.
Thank you for the advice. Someone else had mentioned earlier to me about IES. I wasn't sure what or who they are and any information on them would be greatly appreciated. I was hoping to promote higher quality jobs/companies. Any suggestions?
Run on a policy of reducing taxes, works for many taxes are the #1 reason wages end up being low.
So tax reduction might be a better route to go.

Also, as people have said before $1 USD jobs are for communes which people work for the $1/day but get food and weapons in return for free. It's very easy to find a job for well over $20/day
Thank you for your input. I'm still learning some of the aspects of this game and gladly accept any advice.
Before becoming a frontrunner pushing for drastic changes, it is better to just get elected and sit back for 2-3 months and learn how things are done and why the laws are as they are.
Also, I think Clinton is the best or second best choice for a decent USA. I know it will be horrible, globally speaking, if Trump would win for example.
Honestly, all the current candidates scare me. I'm trying to find the one with the least issues. Trump an Hillary both scare me the most.
As for your input about running for office, I will take that into consideration and thank you for your input.
2 problems
1) with a Dictator you cannot approve any Citizen requests
2) Without a Dictator you can only approve very few (3?) Citizen requests per term
I was not aware of any limitation on approval of citizenships, other than a percentage, if I read the wiki correctly.

when I was in congress the limit was 3 (not sure what the number is now but not likely to be larger since have a smaller population now) - but with a dictator congress has no in game power
Taxes can't be decreased gradually, the fiscal tools a gov has are quite limited.
