Hi guys,
I left eTurkey a few days ago, because it was fully conquered by Serbia and joined the USA. Shortly after or before I got accepted, the Work Tax has been raised from 8% to 15% by the Presidicktator.
I have 112 Companies I work in daily. So I would have to pay 630cc daily to work in my own companies.
That's more than a half of what I would have earned with them.
Also I have a lot of housing companies, a lot of Q1s, some Q2s and Q3s and way too many Q5 HRM companies.
All those jobs now moved to Serbia along with the VAT income of some hundreds per day I generate with my Companies.
So, eUSA lost ~1000cc Taxes daily with me, or ~700cc with the old Work Tax.
Now, when 10 company owners like me will leave, eUSA will lose 10.000cc daily (6.500 old taxes) or 100 people generating 25 times as much as me will make eUSA lose 25.000cc (17.500cc) daily.
This along with systematic disantvantages like loss of fighting power, work places, people stop working in low Q Companies.
The last one is the worst problem, people will buy e.g. 10 Q3 Food Companies instead of 54 Q1 Food Companies (which are more profitable without WTax) at this almost double Work Tax, loosing 64,8% of the Work tax income and 45,56% of the production and VAT-income.
Existing Q1, maybe Q2-Companies won't be used, loosing 100% VAT and Work tax Income.
Also goes for Raw Companies, Q3, maybe Q4 and below.
Really nice job mathematicians of the Government, destroying your own country like that.
Higher Work Tax rate ≠ Higher Tax Income
and
Higher Work Tax rate ≠ Stronger Country
This only to maybe create Money reserves for the next Country Treasury Stealer.
Also, because of reasons I will give the first 25 commenters under this article 1 free Q7 Weapon!
Because of the Work Tax I save I can easily afford to publish this article in the USA and the Q7 Weapons for the commenters. From what I save in 1 or 2 days here.

I have been in congress and I showed with facts and proofs that his tax policy is just self-destructive, and the only thing he did was:
1) autovote himself a thousand times in 1 hour to have more applauds then smites on forum. Yeah, very mature.
2) blackmail me by PM in game to leave the discussion and to stop talking against his vision because he claimed he was a supergod of RL economics (which has nothing to do with ingame mechanics)
3) showed a 3 years old article that, according to him, proved his vision, though even the game rules changed in the meanwhile
4) insulted me even if I am in the same party.
I don't know the thing about terrorism or stuff, but I rarely saw a so childish player in my whole erepublik history, so I decided not to run for congress anymore. Telling that to a friend of mine in USWP, he said that the same happened more than once, with others.
Despite of that I think that when resources have to be raised fast, raising the work tax can be needed too, so I am not against raising work taxes for a limited period, but I still consider self destructive the eUSA taxes policy, and we should ask to other countries (and not to an immature player), how can they get taxes with lower bonuses without harming their own citizens.
Blackmailing citizens, insulting citizen for their disagreement with him; these are acts of terror against other citizens. Those two facts alone make him a terrorist and anyone who would associate themselves with such citizen are themselves terrorist.
Well... let's not get too many consequences.
Me and many of my friends still are in USWP because we like a lot of people there, and we don't feel that this makes us terrorists.
And anyway if every immature troll with a wrong based high concept of himself was a terrorist, I doubt that we could have time in our life to play a browser game 😃
If you don't blackmail citizens, don't insult them for disagreeing with you then you are not a terrorist. There are many in the USWP who are decent citizens, however all it takes for evil to triumph is for good citizens to do nothing; you and others in the USWP should work against such behaviour instead of condoning what Kemal does. You and others should either leave the USWP are remove him from power within the USWP, by not speaking out you are condoning what he does; if you condone what he does then you are as guilty of terrorism as he is.

I like the high taxes, it creates a boom bust cycle in the game. america holds tons of currency with high taxes , deflation occurs prices drop. i buy good cheap.
everyone complains the economy is terrible.

If Americans had CC in their pocket in order to purchase product there wouldn't be an over supply; but you knew that did ya.
So you are going to ignore the years of overproduction that's went on, including all the overproduction that's happened while taxes were lower in order to try and make a point about the taxes being too high. The overproduction has more to do with everyone having too many companies and the WAM. It has zero to do with taxes. But you know that, it just doesn't fit your agenda.
So the overproduction was created while WAM was 12% and you give an 8% tax rate a test run of a month to get rid of years of overproduction? How about the 'meta government' shutting down it's Communes and instead purchasing some of that overproduction off the market, that would certainly get rid of some of the abundance of companies and put CC in its citizens pockets.
Better yet why doesn't the 'meta government' give away their production through MoW and AA? You know arm and feed its Citizen Soldiers.

As for PMUs buying from the open market, I will simply point to EZC who pays their soldiers in CC; who then buy from the open market -seems to have worked for them.
Every CC I make goes to buying food to feed America's Citizen Soldiers, all the tanks I produce goes to arm America's Citizen Soldiers; I convert the gold I earn through HW and BH medals and the BU2SU program to train, buy Training Contracts, to arm and feed myself. Yes I am generous with Tax Revenue, but not any more so than with my own revenue.
