Give me Liberty or Give me Death! - Military Affairs

Day 1,533, 07:07 Published in Switzerland Switzerland by Monsieur Guillontine

Salut madams and monsieurs!

Let me address the current military affairs of Switzerland. Over this past term, I have tried to get the Military Unit leaders to try and work together, and to combine into one national army. However, this seems to be impossible as the Commanders would like to remain independent from the government and funding. That is why I have come up with a new solution. We will allow the Military Units to remain autonomous to the government, but it will be highly encouraged that the Military Units follow the proper commands and coordination provided by the Minister of Defence. By doing so, we can form a more organized fighting force, which will be able to withstand enemies in a far more dangerous manner.

Another issue I would like to talk about is our military’s activity. I see that it is very inactive lately, and that few soldiers actually go on the IRC. That is why I would like to encourage soldiers to frequently stop by our official military channel, #Save.Switzerland, so that they will be able to receive instant orders from either the Minister of Defence or the Commanders of the Military Units. All nations have an organized military system similar to this, and by doing so we will be able to transform our community into a far more quick and deadly fighting force, ready to strike at a moment’s notice

That is why I believe that with a strong military foundation, we will, as a nation, be able to defeat any enemy who dares to aggressively invade our great country of Switzerland.

Give me Liberty, or Give me Death!

Yours Truly,
Monsieur Guillontine
President of Switzerland
