Give me Liberty or Give me Death! - Financial Affairs

Day 1,535, 07:10 Published in Switzerland Switzerland by Monsieur Guillontine

Salut madams and monsieurs!

Let me address the current financial affairs of Switzerland. As many of you know, in the recent struggle for freedom against Slovenia, we definitely used quite a large amount of money from the bank, and although worthwhile, I do agree with some that we should make sure we are able to use this money in a reasonable manner. That is why I would like to implement a budget which I will be able to construct with the Chairman of the Swiss Confederation Bank, as well as my Minister of Finance. This plan will encompass when we should be able to withdraw funds from the bank, how much should be withdrawn, what the funds should be used for, and so on. By doing so, we will ensure that our nation's wealth will not be depleted in too short a time.

In addition to reforming Switzerland's budget, I will also encourage the increasing of our national income through two policies. First of all, a new taxing system which will ensure our small companies to prosper and become more efficient, thus stimulating our economy. My Minister of Finance will also invest in buying and selling different country currencies, which will ultimately allow our nation to receive around 50 GOLD per month. Through a strong economy, our nation will be able to fund our programs as well as prepare for the inevitable, whether it is soon or in the far future: an invasion.

Give me Liberty, or Give me Death!

Yours Truly,
Monsieur Guillontine
President of Switzerland
