Give a Little Love; A Message to Ireland.

Good Afternoon!

It’s not often that I release articles into the Irish media, but recently is has come to my attention that some people are worried about the threat of an invasion from the eUK.

I just want to let you know, there is no threat of invasion.

The eUK values Ireland as one of, if not our best Ally.

It’s on the friendship between our two countries, that has been around since before I was (e)born that the Raleigh treaty was drawn up.



Wargames

It was also brought to my attention that Ireland would consider participating in wargames with the United States, and fear of PEACE interfering by the means of invading may have put some people off.

The eUK would never attack Ireland, and PEACE has no power to make us do so. Out of friendship, we refuse to attack you, and this is reinforced by the Raleigh treaty, which says;

Both nations agree to never attack the other nation, whether it is directly through an attack on their land, or indirectly through a third party attack. Neither nation may offer any assistance be it military or economic to an attack against the other nation. Military assistance is understood to mean deployment of soldiers or support of enemy soldiers. Economic assistance is understood to mean donating funds, gifting, or the selling or trading of weapons and other war material to the enemy. In addition, any wars between the two nations created by proxy within the game, such as those initiated when an MPP with another partner is engaged, must be ended immediately by both nations. Both Ireland and the UK agree to not allow another foreign power to use their regions in order to attack one another through the uses of region swaps. Region swaps are defined as the tactical retreat of in-game regions in order to make a border with another foreign power. Additionally, neither nation may engage in or in any way support a Political Takeover (henceforth known as PTO) within the other nation.

Furthermore, as Prime Minister I would do all in my power to ensure Irelands security is not compromised.

Both states agree to defend the other should they be invaded. This can be through military assistance, our economic support.
