What does everything do?

Currency

Gol😛 A paid for currency sometimes obtained in level-ups.
It can be used to exchange with AUD in Market > Monetary Market, to create companies (My Places > Companies), to buy companies (Market > Companies for Sale) and to buy boosters and other premium items.

AU😨 The Australian Universal Dollar. The base currency for buying food, weaponry and moving tickets, as well as all the raw materials to make those products. You can buy stuff at Market > Marketplace.

Player

Energy: Used in Training, Working and Fighting. Fighting especially, as you are using energy as the health bar. You recharge it using food from your storage. However, you can only recharge 10 energy every 6 mins unless you have an energy booster.

Army ranks: These are achieved by total damage to enemies reaching a milestone. They use standard army rankings (private, corporal, sergeant, lieutenant, captain, major etc.) The last level is Legends Of The New World, costing 20 billion overall damage!

Levels: Achieved easily in battles. Displayed next to your profile picture with a blue progress bar.

Home: Takes you to the homepage. (Not the login page)

My Places > Companies: Where you work and organise business and create new companies

My Places > Training Grounds: Where you train and earn strength

My Places > Storage: Where all the items in your inventory are displayed

My Places > Advanced Buildings: Where you can construct Hospitals and other powerful structures

Wars: Takes you to a list of current campaigns. You can join in to level yourself up and achieve higher army ranks

Market > Marketplace: Where you can buy goods and raw materials

Market > Job Market: Where you can get a job

Market > Monetary Market: Gold and AUD exchange

Market > Companies for Sale: Where you can buy companies off other people

Community > My Country: A brief overview of the country's statistics

Community > My Military Unit: You can sign up for an army (Go KnightHawks!)

Community > My Party: Choose a political party and see an overview of it

Community > My Newspaper: Where you can organise media like the stuff you're reading. It costs 2 gold to create a newspaper

Community > Forums: The game's forums for new players and those wanting to chat

Community > Alliances: An overview of the alliance your country is in. For Australia, that's NEBULA

Community > Elections: When a presidential election comes along, that's where you vote

Community > Rankings: Player, country, alliance, newspaper, army and more rankings

Community > World Map: An ancient map of day 2680. Not very useful. Use the one on the homepage instead

Gold and Extras: Premium products (gold etc.)

Army ranks: These are achieved by total damage to enemies reaching a milestone. Damage from Bomb's and Rocket not included, has to be from hitting the fight button 🙂

Levels: Achieved easily in battles. Displayed next to your profile picture with a blue progress bar. This is true for newbies powering to lvl20, but after that each one gets harder and harder until lvl 100 then each lvl takes the same amount of Exp (5000 which = 50000 Energy spent hitting the fight button) I think 🙂
