Fund a stronger UK - without raising taxes

Day 2,730, 08:59 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Max Blue
Each marketplace in the eWorld has lots of offers sitting on the shelves at high prices that no one is going to buy. The UK should be competing with other nations to be a destination for global buyers. People in countries with poor bonuses, wiped nations and others simply looking for deals often move to other countries to buy goods before returning home: I want these people to be buying from the UK. Buying from the UK means leaving VAT money in the UK treasury making our nation stronger.

Lets actually do something to improve the UK rather than just talking about improving it.

How do we do this?

The UK has a 100% weapons bonus and a will have a 100% food bonus once we take a Norwegian fruit region. This means our citizens will be able to produce more goods. More goods will mean more can be placed on the marketplace at competitive prices. When I say competitive prices I do not mean competitive UK prices, but I mean globally competitive prices!

Once we start posting offers that match, or beat, what the rest of the world has on sale we can start collecting a boost in VAT.

Doing this in a sustainable way

Posting Q2 food at 0.09 CC is the best value food in the world no doubt about it; but the demand at that price so high it means this will be gone in no time. Now Q2 food at 0.10/0.11 CC is the cheapest stuff around globally but the demand is less high, so this means stocks can build up making it more attractive for buyers to come to the UK and buy for example Q2 food at 0.10 CC. The thing is people won't use a Q5 ticket (20 CC) to move to the UK if there are only a few products at good prices for them. We need to make it financially worth them coming here. If we ask all of our citizens that have products stored away that they have no intention of using any time soon, or offers on the marketplace that are way to high for people to buy eg. Q2 food at 0.13 or higher, we can have the quantity of food/weapons at prices that make buyers come to our country.

How you can fund a stronger UK

Everything costs money - derr. War costs money - derr. Invading other countries costs lots of money, lots and lots of money, and so does keeping other countries off your land. You need MPP's and lots of them, you also need heaps of CC for CO (Combat Orders). So the UK needs money. If we can generate enough money to support a prosperous UK with the current tax rates as they are we will not need to raise them. This means we need to try and bring in as much as we can with the tax rates as they are today. Lord of Bones and myself have been contacting some foreign leaders to see if they will base their MU suppliers in the UK. LoB has a scheme for increasing the amount of players/military suppliers in the UK: thus more work tax for the UK.

However, if UK citizens can put food (and Q5 and Q6 weapons - but few people use weapons outside of Q7's) on sale that can compete with the global market like our Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4 and Q7 weapons markets do, we can start bringing global buyers to the UK.

So, if you have excess food aroun😛 Please put it up on the marketplace.

Q1 food will sell at 0.05/0.06 CC
Q2 food will sell at 0.10/0.11 CC
Q3 food will sell at 0.15 and sort of at 0.16 CC
Q4 food will sell at 0.20/0.21 CC
Q5 food will sell at 0.31/0.32/0.33 and 0.34 CC
Q6 food will sell at a similar price as Q5 food (around 0.33 CC)
Q7 food will sell at 0.65/0.66/0.67/0.68 CC the cheaper quicker, but there is a low turnover of this Q.

Clear storage, free up your CC that is locked away in food stocks and help fund the UK.

Do your bit, only don't safe food - put it on the marketplace at competitive or relativly competitive prices.

Selling MT's

MT's are only worth what someone is willing to pay for them. The cheapest Q1 on the market might be 36 CC - but no one is going to pay that. You can move 1 moving zone for 20 CC and not lose health yet using a Q1 MT you will lose you 4 health. So Q1 MT's are worth less than 20 CC. Q5 MT's are so wide spread these days due to the weekly challenge you can pick up one of these for 20 CC any day of the week. A Q5 MT can move you 5 moving zones rather than the 1, a Q1 will move you; and you will not lose any health with one of these - this makes a Q1 worth even less.

Q2 MT's lose you 3 health on using and only move you 2 moving zones so again worth much less than a Q5. Q3's lose you 2 health, moving 3 zones. And Q4's lose you 1 health moving 4 zones. Therefore all MT's (except Q5's) are worth less than 20 CC. As Q5's are always worth 20 CC I suggest people with lower Q's place theirs at prices that aim to sell.

For example:
Q1's at 18.25 CC, Q2's at 18.50 CC, Q3's at 18.75 CC, Q4's at 19.00 CC and Q5's at 20.00 CC

I'm buying, but I'm not buying what Taylor Swift is selling - CheetahCurtis.

I have run out of moving tickets and I will buy more as I travel around the world a lot. I will try and negotiate some cheaper MT prices from anyone I can globally, but I wanted to offer UK citizens the opportunity to sell me however many tickets they want to get rid of. Doing this rather than buying foreign MT's will benefit the UK by giving the state more tax revenue and fellow players CC and storage space. If you are interested, put up any MT's you have on the UK market at the prices above and I will buy them from you.
