Dear citizens,
Our team focused today on improving the server performance. That's because next week we expect a large number of new Citizens to join the New World.
These days there was a problem with our contact form and we were not able to receive any message from you. This issue was fixed today and we kindly ask you to resend your messages. Also please consider there might be a few days delay to our answers as we will have a high amount of incoming messages.
Another set of updates and bug fixing will be performed during the week-end and we'll be back with another report on Monday.
Economy Tips
In order to be a successful business citizen, it's better to invest your money into smaller companies rather than creating and administrating a huge one (in terms of number of employees), because:
- smaller companies just like start ups receive a higher productivity (a company having the recommended number of employees can produce even twice more products)wiki link;
- a raw material bonus is offered by the Admin for each company, so having more companies will get you more raw materials for a limited amount of days (be careful as the Admin won't keep offering this bonus for a long time);
- you can diversify the production and spread risk;
- you can build your own raw materials companies (on the V1 transfer we gave 20 gold in order to help you on that);
- you can create companies abroad;
- the cost to create a company is half the price from Beta;

We can't eat. Our houses do nothing. We can't go to hospital the second time. Working does not work if you move to new company. Why no word on these IMPORTANT issues? Hola, Admins, please reply that you atleast are aware of these issues and are working on them, and not on "minor issues" like formatting in media....
Same here about new wellness formula.
I think the bonus wellness for gifts, food and house quality 1 must not be '1' because it has no sense to buy a house Q1 or get a gift Q1 if at least the multiplier is just 1
Of course everybody will need at least 1 item Q2 to recover wellness if I'm not wrong.

nice... but if you don't want to be ashamed next week, please hire someone( who actualy knows something about economy,politics,sociology,history,etc) to correct the questions and answers that you put on trivia when we work and train...
It is shamefull to have so many confused or vague questions and wrong answers in a game like this...

copy questions and answers from the game trivial pursuit (in several languages,because the questions vary)... their actualy correct! at least most of them...
Have to agree that Wellness is the ABSOLUTE first priority here. I will rather let my character die than use gold to purchase wellness packs just because the program is not working. It's not my fault so I should not be the one that has to pay for it.

Work problem resolved.
Trivia questions will be changed with better ones.
Hacked accounts from beta will get back their money and inventory lost (sorry for the delay, zocky, but we haven't forgot).
Little by little all the problems will be resolved and we will improve also the formulas.

@Erwin - wellness is very important and please do not buy wellness packs if you lost wellness because of a problem in the code. Contact us.

it keeps saying that the page doesn't exist whenever I try to see diferent Qualities...
and you should add the quality of the items or companies when we select all levels...
otherwise it doesn't make any sense to have that option... because we don't know what quality we are looking at...

Will there be handed out more raw materials? My workers haven't been able to work for over 24 hours
Most of the people fighting in the Resistance War cannot use the hospital, cannot get more gifts, and do not eat. Not even after 48 hours have passed. I myself has been stuck with low wellness because of these issues. I do lose wellness in a normal fashion, but increasing it is impossible. Wellness increase for everyone in the Norwegian domination would be very welcome.
please fix the unable-to-automatically-consume food bug. three days without food ate, wellness can't rise. thanks

This is stupid. It doesn't make sense. In real world (and in the beta version too) bigger companies are better than smaller companies.
And there are too many synfony exceptions.

I have a large stock pile of food my character will not eat so my wellness is dropping steadily I can only imagine how frustrating that is to those fighting.

@AngelofSorrows - I've noticed that you get the error page in market if the page isn't completely loaded and you try to change product/quality/market. Try to wait for the page to be completely loaded before changing product/quality/market, at least that seems to work for me and I use Internet Explorer.

Also, what about these achievements? In beta I got into Congress, worked over 30 continues days, and reached over 5.00 strength. Why don't those things carry over and unlock those achievements now? I'm still over 5.00 strength, I gave up my Congressional seat, and it says I have 25 days more until I get the work achievement...so why are those already done things carrying over?

The cost for Q5 companies is too high to make them having the best productivity with only 10-20 workers.

The 20 gold were added into companies accounts.
Sandtux - the increase of the recommended number of employees following the bigger quality level of the company sounds an interesting idea that we should analyze.
Richer even richer and poorer even poorer? Bah...
I think it's not a very wise idea to limit the employee efficiency to such low figures as 10, especially for older, higher quality companies. Sandtux had a sensible suggestion above.
Having 2000 players working in 200 small companies in only a few domains. This would create a huge list of products from where to choose and propably very unhealthy competition.
It all smells a bit like you guys just want us to buy your gold, the same smell that was with the cost for editing newspaper/company details that was already removed. Be careful not to go too far down that road because I think it'll just hurt your business in a not-so-long-run.

Did the working bug affect the Hard Working medal? I hope not. And if it did, you really should fix that. I wasn't able to work yesterday or consume food.
After you give us the 10 wellness points I never ate too, my house don't give me any bonus to the wealth as result I lost 2 wp every day.

I have two companies, Escorts El Lupanar (http://www.erepublik.com/en/company/escorts-el-lupanar-79971) and SexBomb (http://www.erepublik.com/en/company/sexbomb-97081).
SexBomb seems to be ok but not Escorts El Lupanar.
It has been "moved" to eVenezuela from eSpain (I think that it is owed by the bug from beta version about Valencia, Venezuela/Spain).
Please, I need my company back to Spain because I cant't pay my employers (now it appears that I have to pay them with VEBs, that I have not, if I sell in Spain I have to pay exportation taxes etc etc)

Eating bug combined to hospital glitch is really draining wellness of eCitizens taking part in resistance war.

Incase some of you didn't get the fact in yet, the 20 gold mentioned above were given to companies, not individuals. This was towards the purpose of companies spawning raw material companies to support their production in V1.
Could you fix Impeachment, Admin? We passed a law in the Czech Republic impeaching the president but he still has power. Shanethe13 came in second last elections, and we believe he should have power.

delete the rule we can't go away from companies before 72 hours, so we can work. There are no raw materials in some company and we aren't payed
- productivity formula change it wasnt a right move to do. You just doubled the demand for raw materials, when there was none to buy! I didnt get the reason or the logic behind this move.
- the higher quality items cost effectiveness issue wasnt "fixed".
- there still no way to move your companies from a region to another.
- the salary can be lowered in the first 72 hours. still.
If V1 were to be launched in november should have been a great ideea, you know. And maybe keeping temporary.erepublik.com online for a month or so and open for lets say 1000 users before launching V1, should have been a great thing to do also.
I noticed a change in the work questions, much more sensible now but the army ones are still as daft as ever.

and also again, Freedom Fighter like me got stuck with lowest health because i couldnt use hospital the second day of battle, not even receive gift, we would need a wellness boost from admins, maybe.
Thanks for raw gift, because its impossible yet for companies to buy at a normal price or even VERY HIGH PRICED raw enough on market this is maybe also because of too many small companies in raw...actually, imnot economist, is contrary of what you state...but again, im slow and not into economics sorry to steal your time.

» Notification about new party member to the Party President.
» Number of comments in articles list.
» Articles should be order by Latest (as default)
» Information about Salary in the profile or in company page (when going to work).
» Companies economic stats (accessible for everyone).
It's all by now.

If i choose 2.05BRL, again, the price in market is 2BRL

my company recieved 1000 units i thank you for that, but i never did recieve 20g. that would have been very helpful. considering now that there is so much raw materials flooding the market i am forced to sell at a low price.
Make companies movable.
It's crazy to think that companies can't relocate. Look at what is happening in the real life. Many companies are relocating theirs activities in the East Europe or in South-East Asia.
You can put a tax of 2 GOLD for relocating the company in the country and 4 GOLD for relocating the company abroad.
When are the wars from the beta going to start up again?

This V1 is a simulation of communism. The General Manager has to offer the same salary to all the citizens regardless of skill, wellness and their productivity obtain answering the trivia questions.
For a skill of 5.17 and one of 5.83 I have to offer the same salary. And after they accept my offer I have to cut the salary... cutting the salaries is OK for me as a General Manager... but not for employees...
So, bring Beta back...

I completely agree with you on all those counts, I miss all those things from beta, i'm sure the admins will bring back most of them though, people obviously want them.
About Me is especially handy but the thing I miss most is in player profile in beta you could see how many days they work but now you can't, that is a necessity for companies, being co-ceo of a grain company I need to keep check on how often people are working, working presence doesn't tell me very much, please bring it back admins it's too usefull to companies to be without

These questions are quite hard, unless you know well the economy and stuff like that. But yeah, there some very easy.
Seems like they have now officially abandoned the idea of abandoning the quiz show. Oh well.. if you HAVE TO keep it, then at least make it seem less like a test in a business school. I could answer those questions in Finnish but can't do it in English. Anyway, that system will lose it's meaning when people have collected all the answers and questions. I hope you are prepared to come up with new questions every day.
Also, offering gifts and eating are still non-operational. It's all well and good that the hospital works, but it's not very helpful for those who can't fight in the first place to get to use the hospital. They are forever doomed to be under 40 wellness.
