eRep FAIL is not the only thing chasing players from the game.
this poster is just as I found it, no need to alter it to make my point
I've called it bullying, the response was "wahhh! wahhh!", so you see what we're dealing with, here.
You see it, though, in newspapers' Comments and in the Forums, not just with my own inflammatory work but toward others who simply express a difference of opinion and are shouted down.
And don't think that Congress is loaded with a bunch of mature intellectuals who can exchange dissenting views without descending to personal attacks and namecalling, it's just as bad there.

and I'm not going to shut the hell up, or try to make you do so, which is my point... that some players take it upon themselves to tell others to shut the hell up, which is a pretty big step beyond allowing them to blow off steam or be a whacko or **heaven forbid** disagree with the majority or the loud or the empowered.
I don't see elitism hampering anyone's ability of free speech. If you have crap to say then say it, but you have to understand you will always have critics and whatnot.

this article is a simple commentary on how in addition to the eRep Admins' shortcomings and the ill-effect of cheaters, that another contributing factor to loss of player retention is how some players treat others.
cyber-bullying exists, it thrives in eRepublik-- and, yes, I'm saying that it contributes to the prolifition of an elite class, which is also non-condusive to player retention.
I can't believe anyone would come out in defense of alienation of players through bullying.
I hope voters take note as they see Comments threads and see behavior they wouldn't tolerate in their RL, on their kids' playgrounds, at the mall.. and take that recall with them to the polls.
Also, your last comment is full of derp. I hope the voters remember it when you try to run for president not long from now. Don't deny it. You're setting yourself up as the "people's champ"
did I say the whole of, every member, of SEES is fucked up?
did I say that every player who feels intimidated quits?

some people remark that cheaters make playing no fun, and some quit over that.
I'm adding a seldom mentioned third aspect of game play that makes it no fun and causes people to quit, and that is bullying.
I think what's confusing you is that I'm suggesting that the bullying is intimidating to some players, enough so that they refrain from posting comments in dissent or criticism, because they just don't want to be trolled to bits... like you seem to enjoy doing here.
Bullying inhibits Free Speech.
