Freedom Against Tyranny

Japan I come to you today not as an enemy, not as a eUS government official but as a citizen of my humble nation. Dark clouds of war circle the eUS, and I come to you now to stand against tyranny and oppression. The eUS has never been an enemy of Japan, we have never acted aggressively towards your majestic and noble land. In fact we have acted cordially with you in all ways. Despite being a Pro-Peace nation we have never scorned you nor forsaken diplomatic ties. It is because of this that I must now tell you of the lies that have been forced on you.
When will the puppet master cease?
Indonesia has manipulated affairs in Asia for a long time. They have used nations such as China and India as their personal pawns and shields in their conquests. They continually PTO free nations to gain wealth and resources. Now they seek to do the same to you Japan. They seek to pull your strings and move you into a position so that you may become another piece in their conquest. It is now up to you make a choice to stand against this, but what exactly is afoot?

Today your leaders claim that they have opened war games with Indonesia. They claim that these war games are substitutions for problems with the chilean war games. This is a lie, how can we tell? Well in a war game why is indonesia going to attack you? By far their citizenry is stronger and will break through any war game wall you put up. This points to a much more nefarious plot, Indonesia does not seek to simply war game with you. They seek to conquer your territory and thus gain access to eUS territory. Please realize I am not trying to interfere in your politics, but you must realize that when your leaders say everything is alright, it is not! This action is nothing more than a plot by your government leaders and Indonesian officials to subvert the truth and allow Indonias to attack a country that has been nothing but courteous to you.

I understand where you stand, many of you are probably asking. What other choice do we have? I sympathize for the fact that you are placed next to the largest military power in eRepublik. And countries such as the eUS, Spain and Sweden seem distant allies who are unable to help. But I tell you this, simply ask and the eUS will come to your aid. We are a country that strives to fight oppression and tyranny. We do not wish to see your country used and tossed aside in the PEACE war plan. The eUS people and their government continue to stand with you the people of Japan. I urge you to cast aside this oppression and make you voices heard! As the famous eUS military leader Joseph Schmo said:

This article doesn't really come with any founding. I dislike and have disliked Indo for as long as I've lived here, but I put up with it because they haven't bothered Japan for a long time. The most they've done is sign a couple MPPs and occasionally some friendly Indonesians stop by. Likewise, although my opinion of Japanese government has been on a constant decline for months, I think it's a huge over-assertion to say that they have ill at mind for the nation. You have no evidence to support either claim.
Sure, it comes unexpected to me that, after saying nothing (publically) about the end of the war games until today, the government has suddenly proceeded in making this giant decision without asking the people. This certainly was not how it went with the first wargames. But the government has been on like this for a while, so it's not such a big surprise.
This article, you guys getting involved in Japanese affairs without reason, really kills any hope I had left for the USA.

The fact that the Japanese government is officially claiming that there is nothing wrong with it, and it's all a training exercise makes many of us wonder whether they might be lying to the citizens of Japan.
Therefore, I don't agree with your assertions that this is merely a Japanese affair and Gaius Julius is trying to interfere in your politics. Japan and the US have been on friendly terms since forever.
This, if it is what it appears to be, amounts to stabbing a friend in the back. More importantly, the Japanese citizens deserve to know what is really going on and what the government is getting them into.
Either Japan is actively working with the Indonesians to attack the USA, or it is actively working with PEACE to give us all a scare and distract us from something else they're working on. The American concern about recent Japanese actions is a legitimate one only _because_ diplomatic relations have been friendly.

I don't really know what to say to this article. Gaius had good intentions, Japan, and of course you'll see an American article in your media when it's obvious that Indonesia is preparing to attack us through your regions. Personally, I'd hoped to have written the address, since I have a personal relationship with many Japanese, including most of the government, but this will do.
Anyways, Jazar, French Toast was about freeing Switzerland, not taking over France. It was basically a "reap what you sow" thing, like you're trying to throw at us. Strangely enough, it's the only major operation that we've undertaken with me in the government. Coincidence?

Because from what I've read (and curse the wikis for not being updated) S.Korea fought hard to keep its independence from the Japanese. @Jiosen: You're kind of confusing two events. Long ago, Japan attacked and conquered SK. I have little to say on this subject; I simply wasn't around then, and Japan was very different from what it is today.
Not so long ago, some foreigners came in and managed to pull a few SK regions off, and SK slowly became a decent country. They were doing well enough off, but they held a fair vote in which they agreed to join Japan. It wasn't secret, but I don't know how much of the results were made public exactly; you'd have to ask Alfagrem about that. Those that complained and lied about the vote are GOONs; note Songun's location.
Japan is not an aggressive nation and does not do takeovers. Japan and SK are more or less on good relations. That said, yes, Japan has become as the rest of PEACE with this latest action.
