Okay everyone, I understand that I don't meet the requirements, but in all honesty I shouldn't have too- Since I meet all requirements except for the rank and strength, and I make up for it in the idea, the time spent, the investment, the planning, the organizing, the recruiting, and the managing. SO yes, I understand i dont meet the requirements that I have set, but if I thought of the concept for a MU like this, why wait for a long period of time before I put the plan into action. The only way it would be sucsessful is if it works like this. And I use requirements like this.

Hm, good idea, I was unaware that you'd be fighting for money.

So you are asking people to join your MU, fight where you tell them to, and give them a small cut if you guys are ever hired which to be perfectly honest with you, wont happen. It's cheaper to hand out Q6s to people in #mercenaries than paying for a unit in which all members may not even fight in the designated battle.

But I'd like to say hypothetically speaking, if the MU were to get people like Scymex, Argolb, Romper, etc, and get about 10-15 people on that general level, they could easily determine the outcome of a war. What government would not hire the MU to fight if so? Obviously the people would fight in the DO, if not, they will not receive a cut of the funding..... Of course i don't expect to get those 3 people, but as i said, it's all based on the same concept. And yes it would necessarily be cheaper to hand out Q6 tanks, but it would not be organized. Therefore if each tank fought in a separate war, they alone could not strongly impact the war. But if you were to have 15 tanks fighting for the same war, your playing in a whole new ball game.

The fact that you don't qualify isn't such a big deal in terms of the obvious hypocrisy as much as it reveals something far more simple; your lack of experience tells any highly qualified military person that you lack the ability to accomplish what you intend to because you lack the eStreet-Cred, connections, and ability to be able to properly manage a force that would need to be of sufficient size to be worthy of hiring.

Have you commanded any group of high level soldiers? Have you run even a platoon, regiment? Managed soldiers in a coordinated battle plan? Have you at least been a GQM or even managed a QM system?

You want only ubertanks, so.

Yes and no. Anyone who meets the requirements I have listed above, can be a member of the MU.

Hrrrm. Merc corps can't work, because most countries with a populations big enough to afford to pay for damage, already have their state run militaries. Which then leaves you with little countries you can't afford to pay for your services anyway. Don't get me wrong, have fun with this, if the attempted implementation thereof is what will make you happy and keep you in the game.

But speaking as a retired 4 star general, you don't know how temperamental supertanks can be, and furthermore, if they're already self sufficient, they really have no reason to join your unit in the first place.

Well I plan on raising the requirements as the MU grows. But in order to be able to get those first members, I can't have the requirements too high.

General rank and 4000 strength don't really match up. I'm General*** Ranks and I'm only around 2500 strength. Really, you should raise the rank requirement or lower your strength requirement. Also, Animis is right, your lack of experience and the obvious hypocrisy that you yourself don't meet the requirements you've put forth is going to hurt you in recruitment. However, I do applaud the initiative you've taken.

People are right to give you a heads up and tell you that you want something impossible. You don't have to get all emotional about it. Just because you don't like a certain comment doesn't make that comment spam

I do not feel it is impossible. It will surely be difficult, but if I can get a little lucky and succeed... It would be worth my time. SO succeed or fail, I feel either way it is worth my time.

I really just need some people to support the MU. If I can get a few people to join and help get the name and plan out, and do some recruiting, I think that it will "get the wheels turning".

I have to agree with what busdriver had said. Don't get downtrodden on the comments, it's very easy to shoot for the Stars, but it's a long shot in this game and pretty much all the old players know this. In order to get what you want you either need a lot of experience and friends like some have mentioned or a lot of capital to work with. A government isn't going to just give out cash without some sort of accountability.

Some advise I can offer is: try to start something small, build a group and publicize it much like you have done. You can more than likely apply to OMS for funding or advice if you get everything going. GL though!

Jon Valtomo is right about the strength and rank not matching well. My strength is relatively low for my rank, I'm just short of your requirement. I will hit 4k strength about the time I hit National Force.

Like I said, I realized that it is sort of a shot in the dark. But I have the time, and I am willing to work hard, in order to make this work.

I know the rank doesn't necessarily match up. But there are people who will use gold to use all 4 training buildings a day. So it is possible for someone to have 4000 Strength and only be a general.

Excellent idea. It is the kind of thing that ~should~ theoretically work, but it will take a lot of connections and organizations on your part, and it might be a while before you get there.

and if u don't have a military unite which is willing to do 100 million damage when it gets asked nobody will hire you

because its way cheaper to give tanks at the mercenary channel
