FLAG DAY!
PATRIOTS UNITE!
In order to heal some of the wounds festering within eJapan currently and promote more unity and harmony amongst the factions here I am starting up FLAG DAY!
It will be held on the 24th of each and every month from now on and all that is required to participate is for citizens to change their avatar picture to a picture of the Japanese Flag for the day!
This simple display of patriotism will help us see the similarities we have instead of concentrating on our differences (if only for one day!) and might help us work better together for the betterment of eJapan.
It will also provide great imagery as all comments made by citizens on that day will be accompanied by Japanese Flags and if we are involved in battle that day then there will be an endless stream of Japanese Flags on the battle page as we smite our foes (or wargames partners!
).
I have messaged all the Party Presidents asking them to support this initiative as it is a harmless thing that everyone can get behind and support.
If you need any help locating a Japanese Flag you can either use the one at the top of this article or just Google Image for them as their are loads out there!
I'll be reminding everyone of the approach of Flag Day closer to the 24th and will be asking Ember to support it too via the Events Department.

Flag day is an interesting idea. The problem I see is for the people who already have flags, but that's a small amount I think.
I think the players already using the Japanese Flag as an avatar are just leading the way for us Nelly!

We used to do this about a year ago, but it dissappeared.

I just had a thought. Maybe we should do this on the first of each month in celebration of the Emperor?
I've always wanted to do something for ascension day, but never had any ideas.

Patriotism means wearing special marks to separate us from others. I think they did that in WW2, too.

At Adam (i'm NOT an eUSA-PTO) Reese: This is something we did in eJapan long long before you and the other americans turned up and is just harmless fun so either join in or don't. We don't really care what you do but you should just stick to your rag of a newspaper if you want to just troll and leave us to have our fun.
