Tonight I learnt that this individual has decided to quit the game:

Yddub is, thank God, a once off in eRepublik. One of the few people you would consider to be a genuine friend. And generous! Oh yes, Yddub has given freely more to the State that any individual since its inception.

Given freely and given anonymously more to the point. He is a real gent, and it has been our honour to have had him on our side, fighting for our country, and indeed, his country too.

Yddub is quitting primarily for administration reasons, I won't go into this now, it's for another time. He is not leaving for a multiple reasons connected to this country that you and I would guess. He has melted down his companies and donated every last cent to the country.

Well, actually me. 348,334IEP and 10 gold to be precise. It's not a lot compared to the 1,000,000 that was stolen from the state recently (please note that I am making the ultimate sacrifice by not using this opportunity to make a point or two) but that's how much gold has dropped to recently.

This money will be donated to the government once I am sure that the security is up to a decent level again. This is a great help for the country's finances and reflects once more on his character and generosity.

I would suggest that in his honour, we have the monthly 'citizen of the month' renamed 'yddub of the month' in his honour, along with a prize of 1000IEP to be donated to a good cause of their choosing.
