Greetings eMalaysians!

I just want to promote a tournament similar to the fantasy basketball but with some different implementation. It is based on the real basketball tournament in Philippines. This is a project from the ePhilippine Basketball Association's Commisioner, Boy Pick Up who is also a Minister of Culture & Education of ePhilippines.



What is the Philippine Basketball Association in RL?
The PBA is the most watched basketball league here in the Philippines. It comprises of ten corporate-owned teams battling in three conferences. The first is the Philippine Cup wherein only those with Filipino Citizenship can play. Next is the Commissioner's Cup where teams can hire an import each for help. The same rules are for the Governor's Cup except there would be a height limit for the imports which will be based on the results of the Philippine Cup and Commissioner's Cup.

Two conferences will be held every 3 to 4 months. The Filipino Cup and the Commissioner's Cup. The Filipino Cup will be an all Filipino Players Conference. While in the Commissioner's Cup, every team will have reinforcements called imports.

The organizers will start the inaugural season by holding a fantasy draft. In the draft, they will use the current rosters of the PBA. You can take a look at it here. They will have a draft lottery wherein they will use random.org to select the order. So in that way, they will have an even and fair draft order.

After every team had selected, they will start a week after the draft. This way, the coaches will have time to form their team's starting line-up and for them to code every player.

The season will be a double round robin and the top four teams will advance to the semi-finals. The number 1 seed will battle the number 4 seed while the number 2 and 3 battle. Both match-ups will be a best of three series. The finals will be played by the winners of each match-up in a best of five series. The losing teams in the semi-finals will play another game for third place.



Now the problem is, they can't start the inaugural season without the team managers. The managers will be responsible in drafting, trading, and signing players in their teams. So,for those who are interested, fill up this form. The deadline of the applications will be on March 31.

* Season Champion: 7 Gold and 2500cc
* 1st Runner-Up: 2 Gold and 1500cc
* 2nd Runner-Up: 1 Gold and 1000cc
* Most Valuable Player: 1 Gold and 500cc
