EXCLUSIVE to the Britannia Express, here today we have an interview with the current President of France, Elvea.
Why do you believe ATLANTIS has chosen France as its battleground against PEACE?
eFrance was the most exposed PEACE country to attack. We had frontiers with all Atlantis countries but eRomania.
What does this mean for you and your nation?
It is disastrous and highly unfair on our nation. We have to organize everything, everyday, in order to react to attacks upon our sovereign borders, we must protect our country. We fight a lot, but our allies also help us so much. Even though they are being attacked, we could not have survived this far without them.
What do you say to accusations France is imperialist for capturing and annexing Switzerland?
We were negotiating with eSwitzerland for Swiss independence when the resistance war broke out. Negotiations were aborted when Billy Bob Joe decided the people we were negotiating with were not representative of the Swiss people. That's why Bremer, Big Brother and the French Republic decided we had to stop this resistance war. We are not imperialist. We were and we still are protecting ourselves.
What do you wish to say to the British people?
I would like them to understand this war won't finish until France get all its territories back. Paris can't be taken and ATLANTIS won't stop attacking so this war has no end. If eFrance disappears, it will be because we chose it, and you should take care. But I would prefer British and all ATLANTIS country's citizens to be aware of the situation. eFrance is not an aggressive country.
Would you support a coup of the British government if France was completely captured?
eFrance have allies so our territory would be empty. If France is completely captured, a thousand citizens will vote for a French president in an Atlantis country. A "British" government could be a French one...

Hmmm a thousand Frenchies would vote for a French government? What about the 5000 Ukers that are in the eUK?
Only 507 voted at the last election 😉
...and the bricks were shat.
For the last Congressional Election, 433 voted in eUK, 130 voted in eFrance - so even if every displaced French person made their way to eUK and voted, they still would not be able to make a majority.
I wonder where the concept of 1000 French card carrying voters comes from?
Yes and all of 200 people in France voted for the president, and 130 for the general elections. There could be a problem with a single French party working against the split-up British votes, but I doubt it seeing as how if France does lose (though it has always been said that Paris would be left alone), the land will be carved up amongst the nations fighting against France, so the French vote will be weakened even further.
1) Reporting at its best, voted.
2) I really don't think Elvea's bluffing when it comes to her/France's coup of British politics, but even if all French citizens voted as one you'd still have all British citizens voting against.
Even so, its soon time to end this war. She's right in saying it has no foreseeable end.
For the record, she was offered a ceasefire to politically negotiate. She has declined thus far, for fear of not being able to be elected and/or impeached.
Overall, our talks were civilised and organised, and I hope they continue.

True, but also the congress decided against our treaty.
Indeed, it was voted down 18-2, I wish that would stop being brought up.
I doubt her hubris about an never ending war is true. It's simply not possible to maintain, and she seems convinced that we shall conquer all of France. We need to end this war swiftly and with gains on the continent.
